Excellent valuePosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Helpful, courteous staff. Attractive appearance.
Cons: Someone employed to operate the waffle iron at breakfast.
Location: It's on the outskirts. One has to drive some for local attractions. Museums: one of local history, and the Watermark Art Center. Paul Bunyan Statue.
For the price, I could not ask for more. Very attractive appearance - nice carpeting and some artwork hanging. Computer available for guests' use. There is an excellent restaurant right next door (open only for dinner Monday thru Saturday) that gives a 10% discount for motel guests. On the opposite side of the motel across the street, there is an Applebee's where one can get lunch and supper - needed for the latter on Sundays. Convenient self-service breakfast in the motel lobby.

Nice room; no complaints. Handy that it's right on the main road, near lots of stores & restaurants.

To sleep or not to sleepPosted Sep 15, 2014
Cons: upgrade the entire facility or sell it.
Location: airport and shopping
This place should be sleazy 8 not super 8, It was dark, light bulbs missing, damp smelling. The floor was not clean. I am in the property management business and this place was at the bottom of the scale for comfort. The desk clerk was the best part of the business. The best western facility just down the road was only 91 dollars and was so much better value for the money. This super 8 was not worth the 85 dollars and we will never stay at this one again.

Super 8 is super nasty.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Nothing. Will never ever stay at one again!
Cons: No thank you.
Location: Great, Best Western motel was down there.
Room was dirty, and moldy smelling. AC did not work, breakfast was horrible. Towels smelled moldy. Staff was not prepared at all to move guests. Hotel promoted the restaurant next door with cheap prices, but the prices were out of this world when you got over there.

Great city!Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The people were nice and it appeared to be well maintained.
Cons: The no smoking thing was taken to a bit of a exstream.
Location: I like to bike and there were great trails on the lake and of course the Paul Bunyan. Nice beaches all around the lake.
What a fun city. The lake is beautiful and there seems like it has many things to do. Wish I could have stayed longer
