Slightly tired but pleasant motel.Posted Sep 29, 2013
Excellent helpful manager. Chamber services a bit hit and miss. Lovely area. Great cafe( cafe9) for breakfast just down the road. Motel a little tired but perfectly adequate.

Pros: Ben Lomond
The location is beautiful, but unfortunately the room smelled horrible and looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. Dirty walls, screens were dusty and black, etc.

Nestled beneath towering Redwood treesPosted Sep 2, 2013
Beautiful quiet surroundings within walking distance of quaint town of Ben Lomand. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a full spread. Room contained a refrigerator but no microwave.

Good Hotel in a beautiful settingPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was clean and well maintained. We loved the location. Close to Santa Cruz and all its attractions but away from the summer madness. Up in the trees, quiet. Nice pool area and the breakfast was passable. Would stay here again.

Relaxing GetawayPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was neat and clean. Non-smoking rooms are a plus. Nice view, (there's a castle next door), quite surroundings armong beautiful redwood trees. We spent most of our days in Santa Cruz but the drive was quick and easy (about 20 mins.). Did not spend a lot of time in the hotel but the time we did spend was relaxing and comfortable. I would stay there again.

We'll be back!Posted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I loved the location, up in the redwoods and just far enough away from Santa Cruz to feel the stress melting away. The room was just right for the four of us. Anytime you can have a hot waffle for the boys is super. They also had coffee, eggs, different breads, cereal and fruit. Enough to get you going. The young lady in the evening was exceptionally nice as were the other two people in the office. See you again!

Peaceful & QuietPosted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed it so much while accompanying my daughter for her orientation at UCSC! location was not that far fro school. What I like is that it is very peaceful & quiet with big trees around & a cool breeze outside! Definitely will come back with my other kids to show the beauty of Sta. Cruz!!!
