“Fantastic Girlfriends Getaway!”
The Five Pine Lodge is WONDERFUL !!! We discovered it on the internet when we were researching hotels in Sisters for an overnight stay. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. The caboose cabin was perfect for the three of us--we had plenty of room. The furnishings were comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio overlooking the stream, and even had deer come visit us. The downtown area of Sisters is just a short walk away, and we enjoyed browsing through the shops. We had one of our best restaurant experiences ever at Jen's Garden--we wished we had more time to visit the restaurants at the Lodge. The evening wine reception was so nice, as was the delicious breakfast in the morning. All in all, one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had--we all hope to return in the future!
“Elegant facility in beautiful surroundings”
The cabins have fine wood-crafted furnishings, including very comfortable beds, and are situated in a beautiful wildflower garden. We ate at the on-site brewhouse and the food was reasonable and good; there is apparently a more expensive and elegant restaurant on the grounds as well. The only down-side was the breakfast, which was served that day in a room with insufficient chairs and tables, so we ended up balancing plates on our knees or sitting on footstools. The town is a drive, but the surroundings at the lodge are peaceful and beautiful. We decided to stay in and enjoy them rather than drive to town for dinner.
“luxury in the high desert”
beautiful and very comfortable. it was really the ultimate luxurious experience in the high desert.
