All the amenities, but lacking charm

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Clean, efficient, very nice bedding and linens, comfortable size cabins, quiet at night and indoors.
Cons: Cabins are close together and cookie-cutter. Breakfast was disappointing, without hot food service and lacking staff interaction for special requests.
Location: Lots to do in Sisters, nearby Bend, Butte Ranch. Great outdoors!!
The style here is corporate, which works well for most hotel/inn stays but is an awkward fit for Sisters, OR -- a place that should epitomize small town Oregon soul.

Great getaway!

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Fireplace rooms, big soaker tub, spa amenities and bike rental on site.
Cons: nothing, it was great!
Location: great mountain biking just outback of the hotel. Restaurants within short walking distance. Beautiful Spa & a movie theatre. Enjoyed Sisters too!
Enjoyed mountain biking trails, good food, delicious chocolate porter and a great night sleep in a beautiful room.

Peaceful seclusion among the pines

Posted May 27, 2014
Location: Complimentary use of the facility's gym and bicycles to go along the paths among the pines. Lots of arts and crafts shops in the town. Golf nearby.
We were greatly impressed with the quality of the cabin we had. The soaking bath eased the strains of the drive, followed by a couple of glasses of complimentary wine by pool. We had a great dinner and then enjoyed our fireplace. Our only mistake was in staying just one day. Next time we'll go for a three day weekend.

Amazing!

Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Amazingly clean, very comfortable bed, large room, private, a true romantic getaway or a perfect respite along the way.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Location: Sisters is a quaint little town, western in theme. Sisters coffee shop is so good it is a preferred destination for us. Area is beautiful.
We do quite a bit of traveling. This stay was our first there and such a pleasant surprise! Cabin was large, spotless (and my husband will tell you I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness) well appointed and very comfortable. Staff went above and beyond when we left a wallet behind. Unfortunately our stay was not long enough to take advantage of the spa amenities. It will be our preferred place to stay whenever we are in Bend or Sisters again! Highly recommended!

Luxury cabin in scenic spot

Posted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Pretty spot in the mountains, wine reception, our cabin had all the comfort features (hair dryer, magnifying mirror, big screen TV, refrigerator)
Cons: Needs a door on the small bedroom so we could put the kids to bed earlier and have more privacy.
Our cabin was not just a cabin! It was beautifully decorated with a huge soaking tub, elegantly tiled shower, very comfortable bed, and a big screen TV. The staff was very helpful. We loved the 5-6 pm wine reception and the continental breakfast.

Fantastic Girlfriends Getaway!

Posted Sep 30, 2010
The Five Pine Lodge is WONDERFUL !!! We discovered it on the internet when we were researching hotels in Sisters for an overnight stay. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. The caboose cabin was perfect for the three of us--we had plenty of room. The furnishings were comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio overlooking the stream, and even had deer come visit us. The downtown area of Sisters is just a short walk away, and we enjoyed browsing through the shops. We had one of our best restaurant experiences ever at Jen's Garden--we wished we had more time to visit the restaurants at the Lodge. The evening wine reception was so nice, as was the delicious breakfast in the morning. All in all, one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had--we all hope to return in the future!
