This hotel should embarrass the LaQuinta chain. Do not stay in this facility if you want comfort. Too much to cover about what is wrong!

Make sure you ask for a ground level room if you have trouble walking stairs. No elevator! Also we were not able to use AARP or AAA discount because I booked our rooms with Expedia.

Quiet & ComfortablePosted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable beds.
Cons: Ice machine on every floor.
Location: Biking, hiking, site seeing, mountains, calderas, glass lava trails, high desert museum, coffee houses, brew pubs and great dining options.
Even though on a busy street, room was quiet. The bed had lots of pillows and was very comfortable to sleep on. Continental breakfast included 2 varieties of eggs, for which I was grateful, having to be on a high protein, low carb diet. Coffee 24/7 in the lobby, and ice water available in the lobby also. Staff was very accommodating and gracious. Would have wished for an ice machine on every floor, that was the only drawback I can think of. Will stay here again and recommend to friends/family.

Nice inexpensive hotel, located just off of Hwy 97Posted Jul 2, 2015
We enjoyed two stays at this hotel last week, one going south to Yosemite National Park, and once on the return trip. A very friendly and helpful staff member at the counter remembered us when we made the second reservation and she helped us locate a good dinner restaurant in Bend. Inexpensive but clean, and the bed was good. We'd stay there again, but it would be nice if they could upgrade the breakfast offerings.

Pros: See above
Cons: Meat at breakfast would be nice
A few days earlier we stayed in a more expensive hotel in Bend. We were surprisingly more pleased with this one! The bed was excellent. The room was larger.

Nice hotel near High Desert Museum/attractionsPosted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Clean, pool, sauna, near attractions and friend.
Cons: Clearer, patient, less "canned" instructions re: the keys and where they are to be placed and why. Be told about the free pie deal at Shari's.
Location: High Desert Musuem
Sister, friend & myself had nice stay in a comfortable and clean room. Hotel has a great sauna. Breakfast was pretty good. We visited High Desert Museum. We would have seen Smith Rock, Pilot Butte, and other attractions if we had more time and if they were open (visited before May 1). We met friends from Bend. All of us loved the weather, the clean air, and beautiful mountains.
