My family and I have stayed at Motel West in Bend, Oregon, numerous times when we've come here for supplies, Dr Appts, etc... It's always been quiet, clean and is convenient when wanting to go somewhere close for food. The motel has been in business for many years. It is an older motel, but, the rooms and beds are very comfortable and individually decorated. Nice TVs. Wifi too. The staff members have always been very nice and helpful. The room rates are very reasonable. Whenever I come to Bend, I will be staying here. :)

Nice that it's half a block away from 3rd. Much quieter. Wish it had daily housekeeping. TV reception is below other hotels in the area. Only 480 dpi at the most. For the price though, it's a good choice. Love the old style full force shower.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were better than average. Housekeeping came daily! This is a no frills motel but it was an excellent place to stay. We will stay here again!

I got trapped in my room because the lock broke and my shower filled with fecal sewer water randomly in the morning and the staff did nothing to help and did not refund me my deposit

Lobby couple said looking for new cleaning staff. Lobby staff were friendly and apologetic. Hairs on sheets upon pulling back blanket, pillow had a drool(?) spot on it. Fan in bathroom was really noisy, as well as fan in furnace. Dirty furniture, never got wifi, ad said continental breakfast but none. She came and changed the bed linens. Price was good. I guess you get what you pay for.

The motel is just off 3rd street, which is very busy. There is a building between the street and the motel which helps quiet the traffic noise. During the early morning hours, the TV blurted out a statement without being turned on.

Honestly, older motel near old Bend, but for the money- it was not terribly out of date and it was SPOTLESS! I am picky about bathrooms- but I could not find one fault. Bed was very comfortable as was pillow. Congenial hostess even tho I got in at 10pm.

I would have provided a higher rating on the front desk service, but after the property charged us an additional $59 on top of paying for the room on Expedia ($89), we were disappointed. I called to find out why they charged us that much, as it couldn't be that much for taxes/mandatory fees. Nobody answered the phone after several attempts...not even a voice mail. I messaged them through expedia, and nobody has responded. If I had known the charge would be that much, I would have chosen a nicer hotel. Very disappointing. There is a homeless camp on the street over, and I highly suggest NOT walking around, especially at night. It was very sketchy. The shower trickled water. The TV was had a very fuzzy picture. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. Sorry!

Sorry for any inconveniences you may have had. There were no additional charges to you directly. The receipt showing the 59 dollar charge is what Expedia gives the property after they charge you themselves and should not reflect on your card as a separate charge. Furthermore, looking into the unanswered calls, we do not have any record of the phone number you provided as contact in our call logs for the days you mentioned having called. Great value, safe, cozy and comfy. Room was clean, bathroom is updated. Property is quiet. Was much much better than I'd expect from such a cheap stay!

When I made the reservation I was immediately contacted to see what time I would be checking in, I let them know I would be there right at check in. Skip to 4 months later I arrived right at check in and the room was ready for us parking was easy room was well cared for and very clean. We were right next to the stairwell and didn't have any problems with noise. We came to town for a concert and couldn't find a ride back to the motel after the concert at the amphitheatre luckily it was an easy mile and a half walk took us about 30 min and was pretty pleased with the whole thing. When we got back we were hungry and ran into luck again as one of the only places still open happened to be a little Mexican food place across the street. Slept great. When getting ready to leave we found a vape pen someone must have dropped behind the bed, it was sitting on a lip housekeeping could easily miss but I was trying to make sure I didn't leave anything and found it. I left it on the nightstand after I found it and as we were getting ready to pull out of the parking lot the housekeeper came running out to make sure it wasn't ours which I appreciate. I will definitely be staying again thank you.

Older property and could use some structuresl updates. Yet, for the price price point it's a great value and the most important thing s were: Clean Comfy bed Good toilet Staff friendly Shower, chairs, where clunky and just barely ok. For a budget nofrills need I would stay there again.
