good location and cheap but not very warming

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: To much to list
The place is also an apartment rental by the week month . we showed up at 6 and our room was to be available at 3 so they switched us rooms . The security lock deadbolt did not work and the door felt ajar when closed . the key card did work but we did not feel secure and took all of our belongings with us when we left for the day . It looks like one of those places DSHS gives out vouchers for . We stayed 2 days for 130 bucks and that was a good deal but I would have paid 200 at another place for piece of mind .

Original non-smoking room reeked of smoke but staff quickly moved us to an upgraded room. Breakfast was missing some basics (eg. no cereal) but stay was mostly fine

Wouldn't pay anymore than I did

This was a good hotel for a short stay, maybe just one night, at the most two. The room needs some touching up, we helped clean the cobwebs off the ceiling for them. Not aesthetically appealing, but for the price I wasn't really disappointed.

One night stay.

Location: Expedia
We stayed one night while we worked at an AVA Convention. The room was basic but clean. We did not take part in the continental breakfast but when we checked out we notice that it was very basic. Had a problem with the toilet and it was taken care of quickly. I could reccomend this for a one or two night stay.

Basics missing

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: I did feel like the rooms were clean.
Cons: Evening check-in shouldn't have to be done standing outside through a little window. Not welcoming at all. Bedding, electric outlets, bathroom fan
Rooms were clean but old, concrete walls made us feel like we were staying in someone's basement. Lighting was harsh with bare, exposed bulbs. There were no outlets in the room to charge phones, etc. except an overloaded power stip for the tv and mini fridge. Bathroom was clean with some effort to update fixtures but there was no bathroom fan, leaving the whole room steamy and musty feeling. There were no outlets to plug in hair dryer, curling iron, shaver... Mattress was cheap and uncomfortable for more than a one night stay. Continental breakfast was not worth the time. McDonald's just down the street was better and I'm no fan of McDonald's... To pay that much money for a room, I would say that it was better than camping, but just barely..

Yakima: Rodeway Inn & Suites

There's a professionally printed sign, six rules, next to the office door that contains at least four errors linguistic errors the most glaring of which is to place refuse "reciprocal" concluding with the offense "we reserve the right" legend. Despite that, the people were nice enough. From our travelogue: "Our motel is nice enough but I had to call for a radio. "A what?" "A radio." "We don't have a radio." "OK, how about a clock?" "A clock?" "Yes, we need a clock." "We don't have a clock." But the room was equipped with a television set, microwave oven without a clock, WiFi, and a refrigerator."
