Service-oriented staff
Excellent service from the front desk, restaurant and cleaning room staff. They are friendly and always seek to accommodate respuesta immediately. The food in the restaurant is good and varied. I recommend including the package with meals

Rooms were Spartan and old
Rooms were spartan an old. Not very comfortable. Mold in shower. Not worth the $115/night. I stayed at the Taj, Hilton, Renaissance, and Radisson for less and much better rooms and service.

Room price is based on the location rather than the actual condition. Felt a bit overpriced just due to the fact that the rooms were not of great standard and also stairs walls on 4th and 5th floor got damp issues which must be paid attention too. Staff have been generally friendly but had to ring front desk on multiple occasions to get hold of someone. But saying this location is excellent and lot of nearby restaurants are there to hangout and dine in..

A Pleasant Surprise!
I stayed at the Lemon Tree because my usual hotel was fully booked. However, the proximity of the hotel to the offices that I was working from meant i could simply walk to work. Everything about my stay was more that expectation and I would definitely stay again. If i had an issue at all, it was that the TV channels were not aimed at a non-India business traveler, as i really could not find anything to watch despite searching.....not even the IPL games which i had to go to the restaurant to watch.

This is a nice hotel that is good, not great, for the price. The biggest misses are due to the fact that the hotel has a musty smell to it. That may be due to the monsoons, but it is there

Uncomfortable environment for business women
I was frankly offended by the framed stories and sayings on the wall which objectified women. Framed baby t-shirts saying "Life is too short, so many girls, so little time" "My girlfriend is out of town tonight", "jokes" telling of a mother's affair with a priest with son watching and blackmailing the priest. This hotel is modern in appearance, but not in sensitivity. It made me as a business woman feel uncomfortable. I am shocked that the global information companies surrounding the hotel have not objected.

Good Business Hotel
I chose this hotel because my India office is so near. Not suitable for sightseers, but the restaurant "Republic of Noodles" is very nice. You can appreciate many kinds of Asian noodles to heal yourself.

A vegetarian coeliac goes to India
I have coeliac's disease, which means if I eat wheat, barley or rye, it makes me very, very poorly (and can do long term damage to me). This was my first time out in India, and I was really nervous about not being able to eat at all (apart from rice). I was really impressed with the exceptional service of all the staff in the cafe. Friendly faces each day, taking great care to make sure I could eat safely. Particularly loved the spicy omelettes. Thanks lovely people :) Location was perfect to walk into work, with taxis arranged and added to the bill if needed. If I need to go back to Bangalore, this will be my first choice.

If you like lemon diffusers giving a lemony scent throughout the hotel this hotel is good. I found the smell causing some allergies.The restaurant staff needs more training- had to ask for coffee thrice to get it.Reception did not know what and where their weighing scale was. Lastly the air conditioning needs a tune up- nothing changed with adjusting the temperatures on the control

I had chosen this spot as a stop_over location while returning from Wayanad/Coorg trips. The stay, ambience, food were all good. I would prefer to stay again here, if another plan / proposal is made in near future.

We had the owners of a European company traveling with us on this trip, who are normally used to exotic 5 star hotels only. But despite, of Lemon tree being a budget hotel, everyone felt quite comfortable and appreciated the services as well as the comfort of the stay.

It was very conveniently located - only a 5-10 minute drive to my client's office. The ambience of the hotel (especially the scent of lime!) is good. Room is comfortable with soft beds and cushions. Breakfast spread is decent. The presentation of food for room service can be improved. Good hotel for a quick business trip.

Problem with on-line reservation
I booked the room for 3 adults and requested for roll away bed as special requirement and paid for it. At the time of check in, the reception guy asked me to pay for the additional person again without the checking the reservation. He assumes by default the hotel accepts two guests in a room and any additional guest to be paid for. He did not check the reservation made despite bringing to his attention. After an argument, his colleague checked the reservation and found that it was for 3 adults. Bad experience at the time of checking in. The kept towels and toiletries only for 2 persons though the room booked for 3 persons. we called the housekeeping for additional towel every day. They do not cross check the number of persons staying in the room. The only good part is the buffet breakfast and the staff in that section. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very courteous.
