Awesome service

The gentleman (Billy) at the front was an absolute gem. He was so happy and helpful. He talked with us as a friend would and gave us good dining recommendations. This hotel and chain are very lucky to have him. I've never had such good customer service and geniune happiness greet me at a hotel.The room had a slight smokey smell even thought it was non-smoking. I did not call to switch because it was late. The paint in the room needs updating and the beds were on the hard side for my tastes. It was very clean. These are my only complaints. I liked Billy so much, I wouldn't have complained anyway! The town is SO cute. It was a Sunday night, so things weren't open, but we had a good dinner just a few doors down. (They were nice as well). In the morning we needed and envelope and to buy a stamp and were provided with both by the ladies at the front desk. They were also very sweet. We will remember this stay, even though we were basically just stopping over.

Pros: It was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The exterior stairwell was showing a lot of wear and tear and needs some maintenance. Rusty shards of metal are sticking off the edge of the steps.
Location: Not mush to do entertainment-wise anywhere in the area. The Wal-Mart is across the street. There is Fatz restaurant next door, as well as Bojangles
Spent two nights. Close to food and retail. Continental breakfast included.

The staff at the hotel were very polite & professional. The town of Cheraw has nothing to do. The hotel is nice.

The room had shoddy finishing, wall paper not firmly attached, stains in the bathroom, etc. The breakfast was so below par thaat we went else where to eat. Not a great experience.

The walls in our rooms wre a little scuffed. Capet in 405 was a little soiled. but manageable.

Great Stay for Rockingham Speedway

We were attending the Motorcycle Rally at Rockingham Dragway. This motel was about 20 miles away. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this motel. Also our room had a microwave and refrigerator which was not listed on the options list.

Convenient location for a short stay.

Pros: The location of the hotel, cleanliness, hostess for the breakfast room made sure items were completely stocked at all times.
Cons: You can't sweat the small stuff like wear & tear as improvements, just inform management on minor details' like could not lock bathroom, was w/family.
Location: Restaurants and shopping area within walking distance or a short drive.
We had a very good experience staying at the Quality Inn in Cheraw SC. Will stay at this hotel again.

Old and Dirty

The carpets were dirty! The upholstered chair in the room was stained and looked nasty. The back of the arms has a huge dust build up so it was obvious it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The toilet paper dispenser had a roll that had maybe 10 squares left on the roll, so we had to change it right away. When we did the back of the dispenser was filthy. I don't know how anybody would rate this hotel anything but horrible.
