The most relaxing place you can find anywhere

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: This place has a history. It is well maintained and has that Vermont charm.
Cons: I would not change a thing.
Location: Cross country skiing close by and it is very good. Lots of historical buildings and interesting shopping.
A great Inn with a wonderful spa and great pool. The staff are outstanding and make you feel like they are there to make your stay very special. Good in house restaurants - pub food is the best! We have been going to the Equinox for the past 10 years and will be back again next year.

Great spot in Manchester

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Great staff (aside from dinner server), enjoyed reading about hotel's history, breakfast and it's overall charm.
Cons: The food and service at Marsh Tavern.
Location: Near both Bromley & Stratton. Manchester offers great shops. Check out Manchester Hot Glass for a fun and worthwhile time - great for kids and adults!
My family stayed at the Equinox for a ski weekend and it worked out great. The valet service was excellent. We arrived very late (11:30 PM) and they got us out of the car and into our room very quickly. Check-in was easy, the room was well appointed but small which is understandable since the building is over 200 years old. We did learn some rooms are bigger than others in the same category so it probably doesn't hurt to ask about your assigned room at check-in. The breakfast served was amazing. Great way to fuel up before a day in the slopes. The kids enjoyed the pool which was very nice too. The only disappointment was the restaurant (Marsh Tavern) for dinner. Food was average/below average at best, overpriced (which is OK if it is better since you are staying in an upscale hotel) and our server acted like she had no interest in being there. Aside from dinner, we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly return. We will just eat dinner elsewhere next time.

Perfect cozy family weekend!

First time taking the kids skiing and our stay at the Equinox made it a perfect experience! Hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable immediately accommodating our every need! Played board games with the kids by the fire while my husband and enjoyed drinks from the bar. Very kid friendly but quiet and relaxing! Great pool and great breakfast. Quick drive to Bromley and close to town for outlets hopping and lots of restaurants. We can't wait to come back!

Pros: Clean Neat very historical
Location: Skiing, mountain climbing, hiking and eating
Beautiful hotel in a classic location in the mountains of magical Manchester. Expected seeing Howard Taft walking down the hall. It was snowing so it was particularly nice.

Really great rooms, staff, and facilities ......with the exception the Hot Tub Spa was out of service....not good ! That was one of the reasons we wanted to stay here ! Should give us a free night when Spa is repaired.........LOL !

Nice hotel for ski resort. Hotel staff is great!

Posted Jan 25, 2015
The service is unbeatable. Amenities are above average for ski resort hotel expectations. The resort is in a great location, right near shops, restaurants, and Manchester Village. Also close to great skiing. We preferred Stratton but Bromley (which is closer) and Magic Mountain are also very easy to get to. Great experience overall And would highly recommend The Equinox to anyone looking for an upscale ski getaway.

Tried to rip me off.

Posted Jan 20, 2015
They attempted to double charge me almost 100 dollars in fees and taxes that I already paid to Expedia. I do not recommend staying here unless you like paying twice for the same thing.

Great place

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: The attentive staff, the history
Cons: Renovating the windows!
Location: we stayed there while skiing at Stratton. Very convenient location. We understand that shopping is popular at the Outlet stores near by.
We stayed there for one night. Excellent staff, very attentive. The restaurant is good but pricey. The rooms were comfortable and nicely maintained. The only negative thing worth mentioning is the age of the windows is showing up, so on a very cold winter night, the heat was cranked up and running nonstop yet the temperature barely raised above 64.
