This is a great little inn with great service. The bed was super cozy, the big bathtub was great, and I made full use of the kitchen. They were quick to respond with a need for extra dish soap. I really enjoyed my stay.

Perfect place, perfect location
I LOVE this place so much that this was a return trip. It is right in the heart of downtown New Buffalo and in walking distance to everything. The spa, the fireplace, the courtyard, the fluffy bedding, the sound of rain on the skylights ... sheer perfection. I'd live here if I could.

Room was great for the night. Longer stay I would book a larger room. Liked that it was close to everything. The no contact check in was easy enough. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and had everything we needed for the night. Lots of lighting options were great, as well as the fireplace. Got a little loud when trucks went by since room was close to road. Bathroom didnt heat up as well as other room. Sliding door to outside porch did not lock, the screen door did luckily. There was a stop bar to prevent entry, but still a bit concerning. Otherwise would definitely book here again. Didnt have time to try any spa services, hopefully next time.

Cute decor but polyester sheets!
Many things were lovely and charming, like the hot tub and the indoor tub/shower and decor. But for some reason the sheets were polyester/nylon instead of cotton, and they were so hot/sticky it felt almost like sleeping in plastic! Please please get cotton sheets! Also worth noting the inn is on a road with a lot of traffic noise.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Our current sheets are microfiber and have held up much better than cotton sheets. We are located on one of the main roads in New Buffalo (also a highway) just two blocks from the main traffic light in New Buffalo so can be a fair amount of traffic, especially during certain times of the day during the busy season. We are a small tourist community and it does get quite busy due to our proximity to Lake Michigan.Thank you again for your feedback! We take all feedback seriously and do make changes based on guest’s input.

Great value. Skinny sidewalks between the resort and downtown New Buffalo put you pretty close to 50 mph semi's is the biggest negative.

Our property is located on US 12 ie Buffalo Street here in New Buffalo. The speed limit is 35 in front of our Inn. Yes there is some truck traffic at times. You can cross and walk the residential area to avoid the busier area. We would love if the highway was reduced to 3 lanes to give walkways more space! The good news is we are only 1.5 blocks to Whittaker Street which leads to the beach access to Lake Michigan so not far to walk on 12. We are glad that you stayed with us

A Cute Little Place
We really liked this place. The rooms were clean. We stayed in the SS Post Boy suite. We had to contact the owner once and things were resolved quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice Retreat
Clean and comfortable. I liked the contactless check-in. Lisa texted soon after our arrival to make sure everything was good. Fireplace was not working and she had it fixed within the hour. Awesome for our quick getaway. Looking forward to staying here again.

Great location for a weekend getaway
Quaint place for a weekend getaway. My wife and I stayed here for the Apple Cider Century cycling event in late September and found it to be the perfect place to walk to restaurants and still have an enjoyable relaxing weekend. Only complaint would be it's a bit dated on the interior - needs an electrical upgrade (sooo many light switches to weird places) and the bathroom needs a facelift.

Nook was all we needed!

We were very satisfied with our stat. It was surprisingly beautiful for being around so many other businesses in highly traveled roads. We especially appreciate that we weren't bothered throughout the visit and when we did have an issue it was taken care of right away. We definitely will be booking another stay but next time we will schedule spa treatments when booking the room.
