“Not very impressed”

Not very impressed. Lobby not clearly identified. Entry road and parking area in poor repair. Difficult to locate entrance to Motel grounds, especially at night.

“Not the Cleanest room”

I would not recommend this but it was not REALLY dirty (stained chairs) but was not a place I would stay for a long period of time. We got there in time to sleep and left early morning.

“Dreadful air freshener”

Usually this hotel is a reliable, no-frills, cheap stay, but this time there was a lingering smell of smoke (in the non smoking room) that was overshadowed by a dreadfully powerful, sweet, air freshener. Had to wash all our belongings when we got home to get rid of the smell. Very disappointing, even though it was cheaper than anything else in the area and we spent very little time in the room.

“Not impressed”

No cover on the light in the bathrrom, no toilet seat cover, no hair dryer in room, dog scratches on the interior bathroom doors, no tissues and pillows were thin. Staff was okay.

“Okay for the price....no creature comforts i.e. no iron/ironing board, coffe maker in the room”

it was okay for a low budget hotel

The hotel didn't have much to offer. It is convinenetly located off the highway and just a short drive into St Joesph, that was our purpose for the stay. And it is located near Meijer, Wal-Mart, several restaurants and a mall. However, the parking lot needs maintanence desparetly and the matresses were very uncomfortable. We had a need for an iron and iron boarding and they did have one avaiable but we had to go to the lobby to get it where the only ise machine is located along with a community microwave. If you just need a reasonable place to stay while traveling through I would say this hotel is ok to stay at otherwise, find some place else to stay.

“Good for the price.”

Right off expressway, restaurants galore within walking distance. Staff was very pleasant.

“We have stayed in four star Hotels that were not as clean as this Red Roof.”

My wife and I were in the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor for her family reunion. Most facilities would not give a one night room, only wanted to book for two nights. The family gathering was for the 31st of July and we planned on leaving on the 1st of Aug. The Red Roof Inn was the only facility that granted our wish for the one night. And the room was large, VERY clean and comfortable. I would recommend this facility to anyone traveling.

“Would stay here with each visit back.”

Staff was great, room was nice and it was convenient to expressway, restaurants and stores. This is my place to stay with each time I visit.
