“Worst Hotel I've ever stayed at”
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed and and I'm a regulary traveler.
The smell entering the hotel could be described as smoke and mold. Room was not much better. We did not have time to get another hotel, and were only staying 1 day so decided to stay. The room "Appeared" somewhat clean, but we had to use 2 room fresheners in an attempt to overpower the moldy smell in the room.
The bathroom we realized had a dead bug (Water? Cricket? Cockroach? unsure) under the counter. The hotel shower curtain was filthy and even had stains where people over time had grabbed the curtain and pulled it back. We obviously did not shower.
The chain on the door was broken off so we used 3 door jams and laid the ironing board against the door to give us some security.
The "indoor" pool was "Under repair". The TINY outdoor pool - from a distance appeared "ok", but was full of people and kids. The hotel's exterior had areas that needed repair.
Asked for directions to a local town, and the woman had to call for help after we told them we did not have GPS (We did), but a good hotel should be able to tell general directions.
The registration area, which contained the breakfast area is disgustingly outdated and dirty. We didn't eat here, it was so dirty and I didn't even want to know how they prepared the coffee/pastries.
No reason, absolutley no reason to stay here. Heed our warning & find another hotel, even if you have to drive a distance. Do not stay here.
