Quiet and comfortable
It was quiet at night, no loud music or people talking in the hallway and it was easy to fall asleep. Bathroom was warm and clean with good shower. I would stay here again when in the area.

The front desk guy was being very rude and yelling at me. the fromt desk guy told my husband to leave the property before checking in while he was sitting outside of his car waiting for me to arrive at the hotel. the rooms was dirty and no hot water coming out of faucet or shower .

This was our 4th year at this location. It’s a very nice family that runs the hotel. Unfortunately due to weather it was a terrible time. The only nice day, we went to the beach… hot out but water was freezing..we came back to get in the pool… and it was closed… on the only nice day in 4 days??? Was so disappointed we actually just left a day early. Never had any issues before ☹️

The place smelled. Pool hadnt been properly maintained. No mattress pad on the bed, towel rack hanging by one side, no plastic roll to hold the toilet paper in the holder. A/C didn't work, smelled like engine oil burning, ended up buying a box fan to stay cool.

The bathroom was filthy floor by shower had mold. The room smelled like something had been burnt in it. The place was horribly run down garbage strewn about outside. Should have drove by during the day reservation would have been canceled immediately!

Room hadnt been properly cleaned in some time. Light bulb burnt out, hair and dirt on bathroom floor, hair on the bathroom counter and sink, dirty shower curtain, dirty lamp shade, obvious spill down one wall, tv picture was a blur. Vending machines out of order.

Room 106. Fan light in bathroom filthy, mold around tub, trim work half painted half not, fridge needs to be defrosted. Toliet seat slides off. Toliet paper holder hanging from screws half off wall. Exit door door stopper on wall not painted. Exit door very dirty. Other than that stay nice.

Nice place if it's just for people that booked it
There was a family reunion happening during our stay, which in itself it an amazing thing. The problem was that not all of the attendees had actually gotten rooms. There was nowhere to park for paying guests. The pool area was taken over by them setting up tables for their "bar area" and to play boards. Unsupervised children running all over the place while the adults relaxed at their party area. The fact this was allowed assures we will probably never return to this particular location. If it wasn't for that particular situation we would probably put this location onto our go to list for summer travels. The alcohol and children running around are an accident waiting to happen. :( No, I am not a Karen. I enjoy vacations with my family, including adult beverages, but I watch my children, and would not allow them to run around a parking lot, nor jump in the pool almost on top of other guests.

This was the first hotel I ever left after looking at the room. Soap scum ring in tub, hair, mold and toilet was moldy. Sheets were grey in color but were white at one point, wrinkled and both beds looked sloppy like last guest pulled up sheets. Hallways have not been vacuumed in ages.. property is old but with a deep clean could be serviceable.

I gave it one star because the air conditioner worked and one star for hot water. Other than that, the room smelled musty, the paint was pealing off the walls and there were cables laying on the floor. We wanted to use the pool but it was green and they poured about 6 bags of shock into it. I would not recommend this place. It’s way overpriced for what you’re getting.

I cannot believe the room I booked, was not even available. I was not called to change, the room they could give me was cheaper, but I could have booked this room originally for $50 cheaper. Room we had, phone in room, no cord and no connection. Both beds were clearly not changed, there were stains on the linens. The desk chair and room chair were grossly aged and worn, there were stains and something that hadn't been wiped up and dried, I needed to get a sheet to cover. We had to cover the beds and use our own to cover up. We had 2 refrigerators. Both were moldy and very old, cracks on the racks, mold and one had some sort of milliped that crawl out after I opened it. There is a hotel and a motel, we were in the hotel. Definitely some permanent residents there or same clientele rent rooms. I have no clue why this was 2.5 stars. I had no where else to go as everything was booked in the area. They use that to their advantage and will ask specific words that get you to verbally accept (2 room Suite, Queen bed and you agree or are willing to take the 1 room, 2 queens). Needless to say, avoid. Too bad we cannot upload pictures, they will leave you speechless and a little humored because the blatant grossness that is so visible and easily fixed is just unbelievable. They have no pride or care and I they are not honest people, they made no means to make things right or attempt any customer service.

almost forgot i had made arrangements to spend the night after the lake breeze music festival in st. joe. was glad i did not have to drive back. good location, room clean, comfortable, peaceful, loved it had micro and fridge. that was handy. water pressure in shower was so comforting.
