“It is a place to lay your head”

There was no ice machine anywhere on my floor, even though it showed one to be right next to my room on the map of the hotel layout. The room was not dirty, but I did find a pen underneath the sink that didn't belong to the hotel, unsure of how long it had been there. Also the housekeeping apparently cleans the outside of your door in the morning time, however they did not wipe off the cleaner very well, since my hand got wet when I was closing my door.

“Happy with my choice”

This was a great location for our needs, right off 540, close to the university. The only drawback was the construction related to the road/highway, but it really wasn't too bad. There is a restaurant on premises, with several other options nearby. Room was clean (we were in the main building, facing the pool),with adequate parking and easy access. My only 'complaint' was that the mattress was FIRM, but it won't keep me from booking again in the future.

“would have expected better from fayetteville”

The buffet was too pricey for the selection and quality of food. The lounge was not at all what I would have expected for a clarion. Some of the pillows in the room smelled horrible. It was in a good location. Plenty of good restaraunts close by. Not too far from Dickson street in Fayetteville.

“Not as good as It once was”

We have stayed at this hotel for 15 years +/- ~ Time and age are very noticable. Key cards not working ALLOT. Odor not so fresh. Seem to have limited housekeeping. There was a bar of used soap in our shower when we entered. The hair dryer / very dirty. This hotel is a great location. Restaraunt and Indoor pool. It needs upgrades and investment for us to come back & keep it on a 4 star rating.

“Incorrect star rating”

I can't believe this hotel has a 3 star rating. 11/2 would be generous. The hotel is very old and the rooms are tiny. While our car was the only one at our building, other than an old broken down one that had been on fire, we had almost no hot water and very little water pressure. The bath towels were the size of a hand towel. If you get un unbelievably cheep rate and aren't going to spend any time in the room this might work. There are just so many better options in Fayetteville.

“Perfectly adequate.”

A quite decent place to stay for the money. Convenient to the University of Arkansas. More highly rated places tend to be well north of here closer to Tyson, Wal-Mart HQs. On a previous visit in August found the upstairs hallway and rooms too warm. Admittedly it was about 98-100 F out. Low water pressure(?) makes showering less of a pleasure.

“Fayetteville Clarion”

OK hotel provided you get a room in the main building. The 1st night we had a room in an outer building and it was like staying in a cheap motel. A/C ran continuously, mattress was hard and it smelled musty. Second and 3rd night we were moved to a room within the main hotel and it was much nicer.

“Would do it all over again”

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was an excellent place to stay. The rates were reasonable, nice clean rooms and great food. I would recommend to anyone. The pool and hot tub area was very nice.

“Outstanding Service”

Went on a short business trip and just needed a place to rest my head. They made check-in and the morning breakfast easy and pleasant. The room was clean and very comfortable. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be staying here again!
