I was greeted upon check in with cookies and told my room was warmed up for me (which was great because the weather was cold). All the furniture was antique. This hotel is family owned and you can tell they really take pride in it. 5 plus stars

We loved this property. The water feature is excellent, so relaxing to listen to. This hotel has been updating, and it was really nice. We will stay here again.

Front desk staff seemed to be going through the motions; wasn’t rude but wasn’t super welcoming either. Room was clean. I struggle to sleep well in hotels. Last night, I slept like a rock. Husband struggled to get comfortable, not sure if it was mattress or an organic issue. Plenty of pillow options, firm and soft. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend the 1st floor of the “main building”. Last night and early morning, I could hear people talking inside and outside, doors opening and closing, road noise. Overall, I would recommend it. If you are looking for a modern place to stay, this is not it. If you want something clean and comfy, this is a good one.

We like the place very nice and quaint, very clean, check in reception (night) could have been more friendlier and helpful. Breakfast has lots of choices and okay, but not “hot breakfast “

Uncomfortable aged-out mattress
Neat place, fun history, but wish that history was reflected in the room decor. Very disappointed in the bed. Worst mattress I have (tried to) sleep on in years. I looked up the model and it was discontinued 6 years ago, so I'm guessing the mattress is 10+ yers old. Very uncomfortable. Above all else, a hotel should provide a good night's sleep.

Comforting
Due to a family health emergency we needed a clean, comfortable place to rest. This was perfect in that it was different from the usual well kept chain hotels—the setting and atmosphere were a welcome respite after hours spent sitting with a loved one in ICU. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were kind and helpful. When we return, we plan to stay there again.

Wonderful Hotel
This is definitely my favorite Hotel. When we come back we will definitely be staying here again. Loved sitting outside by the waterfall and pond. It was so peaceful. The rooms were awesome and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed.

Loved the elegance, the cleanliness, the amenities, the people. The breakfast was good. Mix of packaged and fresh food. Bed needed to be turned which I let them know, but it was a really nice mattress. Had all the amenities. I’m not a fan of cool white lighting in bedroom spaces. Maybe at the room desk, maybe at the room entrance, but I need to wind down like home, and it can really mess with my circadian rhythm. It makes the blues look better, but not good for sleep time.

I love this little hotel. It has beautiful grounds with waterfalls and a great breakfast. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The people are great too. It is a unique place to stay instead of a cookie cutter chain. I'll be back.

Out of the ordinary!
Loved this unique inn! The grounds around it were beautiful as were the rooms. The room was super clean, including the bathroom! If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, this is the place!
