Perfect

Great service, clean, quiet. Thankful for the air conditioning after an unusually warm week in Bergen.

Close to Flesland Airport - a taxi ride away

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, comfortable beds, breakfast, polite, English speaking, helpful staff.
Cons: upkeep of the rooms for painting
Location: We used the hotel as an overnight stop before picking up a hire car at the airport the following day. About 1/2 hour's drive from Bergen centre.
The hotel was clean and friendly, though ready for a coat of paint in the rooms. The service was very good. However, there were no hot drink-making facilities in the room, only in reception and no fresh milk available. We had to request reception staff to find some from the restaurant. There was also no second shower door - the bracket was there but no door.

Good hotel, bad location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
This is a good hotel, but it was 135nk taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and a 45 minute/41nk bus ride into downtown Bergen. Calling it an airport hotel is a bit of a stretch.

The hotel is located either a short taxi / bus ride or a brisk 20 minute walk from Flesland Airport. There is not much around it apart from a few more hotels and some commercial premises. It is a typical business style hotel which is clean with friendly and efficient reception and bar staff. The room was clean and as well as the usual fixtures and fittings, it also had a kettle for tea and coffee and a trouser press. Breakfast was the usual buffet style with a good range of hot and cold food and beverages. Overall okay and I would use again.

Hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2012
Pros: Wifi and breakfast
Cons: Proximity. It was not as close to the airport as I thought and very far from town
Our stay was excellent. The receptionist went above and beyond to assist. Breakfast was ready by 5.45 even though it was not due until 6am

Airport hotel without transport!

Posted Jun 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel was fine, pretty standard for this type of hotel. Breakfast was excellent. However, despite being advertised as an airport hotel it's 2.5km from the airport and no shuttle bus etc. Transport options are a taxi (120 NOK) or bus then walk (~60 NOK) per person.

Too expensive for the quality

Posted Nov 22, 2011
Location: Bergen is just way too overpriced - any hotel is way too expensive by americal standards
Windows are old, it is always drafty in the room, hotel is pretty basic for the price.
