Beech House Hotel

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff but (picky as it sounds) some porridge at breakfast would have been nice on the morning of the half marathon.

Great relaxing check in. Nice English breakfast and free coffee station provided thoughout ones stay as well as tea and coffee in the room. Decent range of toiletries and very clean accommodation. Problem finding the hotel as Tomtom takes you about a mile away from where the hotel actually is

Very clean, excellent customer service, lovely breakfast and enough parking. There's no facilities to dine in for dinner but there is a Harvester across the road which is more than sufficient for a good value meal. It's on a main road but set back far enough that road noise isn't a factor.

nice warm welcome , warm ( even with deep snow outside! )comfortable room. Clean shower toilet. Nice well presented breakfast. will stay again

Hotel was nice and reasonably well located, within walking distance to Reading Centre. Disappointingly the Hotel doesn't do food at night although there is a Beefeater type place just over the road. Otherwise it's a trip in a car into Reading (whioch I had to do as the Beefeater was packed). The Owner/Manager was very friendly and, other than the lack of food at night I don't have any issues. I would stay here again.

Selected after trip advisor rating. One o the best hotels I have been too.Yes it is outside town (you do not go to reading to visit the town center anyway). The staff if very helpful, the breakfast perfect and the rooms are very nice. Would definitively book there again

The service and staff were excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and the hotel location is good, only 1 mile from the centre of Reading.
