Room smell terible. Bads terible... matress springs outside. Not recomend stay.

Completely run down, nothing worked

Pros: Nothing. It was like a slum.
Cons: It needs complete refurbishment and a change of ownership.
Location: The only good thing was the location as it wasn't too far away from a bus route and on the outskirts of central Reading.
The bathroom was in the worst condition I've experienced in a hotel. The shower was broken and probably at least 30 years old. The skirting around the bottom of the walls was missing and there was bare cement instead. The pillar of the sink had some bare wood with drips of paint on it to cover the pipes. The glass shelf above the tiny sink was loose and prevented you actually using the sink as it covered the top of it. The carpets were dirty and threadbare and the only mat was curled up. You could feel the springs of the bed through the sheets. The walls were badly stained and dirty. The television was tiny and so high up you couldn't see it however, if it was any lower you wouldn't be able to pass the bed. At best, it felt like a half-way house. For that, I was charged £64pn. I asked to move rooms as the bathroom was uninhabitable and the person on the desk who I assumed to be the owner said there was no rooms available, this was despite the fact they were still advertising availability online. I had booked for a further 4 nights the following week and asked to cancel this, which I did with Expedia. Despite the disgraceful condition of the room, the manager still insisted on penalising me with a one night charge for the cancellation. They have no right to expect customers to pay to stay in such disgusting conditions and charge £64 for the pleasure.

It was completely hideous The walls had mould. The lamps were hanging off the wall. The walls had mould. The bathroom lights did not work properly, the shower head was hanging off the wall and the shower on off switch wasnt even there. I left within 2 hours as i couldnt bear to stay there

Pros: Quiet hotel, pleasant staff.
Cons: It had bed mites so this needed attention. Central heating did not work. Water was cold in the evening.
Location: N/A.
Quiet hotel but the walls were plasterboard so you could hear next door easily.

The room was clean, bed was old and very uncomfortable. Window could not shut. Very noisy as the sound proofing between rooms must be missing. Never stay there again

if you are loking for cheep (£51 not realy) bed then is ok
