“Great Hotel”

We arrived at the B&B quite late in the day, and the owner was happy to see us. He showed us around and explained we could have tea/coffee 24 hours a day, and showed us where the garden and breakfast room was. The room was absolutely lovely, and just what we needed. When we had breakfast we could have everything on the menu if wanted, and there was so much choice. The hotel was in a residential road, but close to takeaways and shops, and plenty of space to park. We stayed here after spending the day at Chessington and ready for Legoland the next day, and it was only 20 minutes away from Legoloand. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great Price/performance little B&B”

Confortable bed, clean & warm room. Great breakfast (included in the price). Very polite and efficient staff. Can't fault them, really. Great service for a good price. I will probably go there again soon. Only potential drawback is that the area is not that attractive, but had no security or other issues while I stayed.

“ok for a 'pit stop'”

lovely hotel the bathroom is a walk in shower! stated 24hr reception, but we got there at 1pm & there was no one there. came back at 2.30 & managed to get our key (we were due at my brothers wedding at 3pm so this was very inconvenient as the 24hr reception was one of the things that had attracted us in the first place) clean crisp whit sheets with a luxury throw. spare pillows in the cupboard. close to M4 but not a great area..

“excellent hotel”

extremely happy with both the hotel and the service we experienced. The staff were very helpful considering we arrived in the early hours of the morning due to traffic problems travelling to hotel.

I normally book thru last mint and I stay at Holiday inn @LHR wish in my opinion the lodge hotel is much better. And i will recommend to my friends.

“short stay”

owners were helpful and polite in every way. My room was comfortable. My only observation to help the managament was tea or coffee was served by staff holding both saucer and mug with both hands meaning their fingers were touching the rim of the mug in two places. My only other comment would be that only one knife was set on the table meaning that after eating a fried breakfast I had to use the tissue in the toast basket to wipe my knife so I could use it on the butter and marmalade. This problem is easily overcome so I would be very happy to stay again at the guest house.

“B & B is a better description”

The owners were very accommodating and the showers were hot. The gardens were pretty. The toilet in our room took 7-8 flushes to work. The staff did not have great knowledge of what tourist sights were available. The neighborhood was a bit shady and the choices for dinning around the town were limited.

“Cheap and basic.”

Cheap and basic. Breakfast was perfunctory; and just after 10am, somebody came into my room to say that checkout was 10. On the other hand, compared to other cheap hotels it's quiet, you get a good night's sleep, the wifi works, and the staff actually try to provide some form of customer service. There's a kitchen available, which might appeal to cost-conscious travellers who want to feed themselves for a few nights in a row, instead of eating on the mean streets of Slough. Bizarrely, they seem keen to have radiators running immediately below open windows; but it's easy enough for a guest to fix either of those in their room, and if hotel management enjoy huge heating bills, it's their choice...
