Convenient for M4 and quick access to HeathrowPosted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: Great price, great rooms, great staff.
Cons: Had to ask for hot chocolate sachets for the room!! But they did bring them round so big thumbs up.
Location: Only stayed one night so didn't do anything except shop in Reading.
Just stayed one night en route to Heathrow. Nice way to start a holiday.

Some of the longest corridors ever.....Posted Jan 26, 2014
Pros: Convenient location. It was clean and well maintained and the service was efficient.
Cons: width of the corridors - due to the length, invariably you met someone at some point and if you were both carrying bags, it was awkward.
Location: Not far from the motorway and many offices surround it.
The hotel was fine. Parking looked to be a problem until I realised (unlike the majority of other guests) that the main car park was at the rear of the hotel with loads of room and spaces. Other guests had needlessly parked on the grass at the front of hotel. Staff were keen to assist. Check in and out was efficient. Restaurant was typical hotel "sterile". If you're looking for atmosphere - dine out, but the food was good and well presented if on the pricey side for what it was, but that's what you expect..... Restaurant staff were very helpful and encouraged guests to peruse a free newspaper while they waited for food. Had an omelette made in the morning for breakfast - was cooked fresh and was worth waiting for. The only downside to the stay was the walk to the room. It felt as though I was at the far end of the longest corridors ever built. However, I guess it did me good to have a walk after dinner and breakfast....! Would I stay again - yes if I was in the area.

Weekend visitPosted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: The location is good; on a main road with good links to Reading town centre or the motorway. There is a swimming pool and a nice, open bar area.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny and the bath itself wasn't the cleanest I've seen.
Location: There are a few local shops a short walk away but there is a bus stop for Reading town centre right outside the hotel.
I stayed here for two nights over a weekend and found it to be a pleasant, comfortable place to stay. The reception staff were all professional, friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded to an executive room at no extra cost which made my stay more enjoyable. The room was just the right size with plenty of television channels and tea and coffee. Apart from the odd door banging the hotel was quiet during the night and the bed was nice and comfortable. There was free coffee available by the main entrance on Sunday morning.

Good value for moneyPosted Jan 7, 2014
The hotel overall was comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly. However, the room wasn't as nice as shown on the website, and the 'double' bed was made up of 2 single beds pushed together!

Pleasant, serviceable but...Posted Jan 1, 2014
Pros: The bed, the shower, the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness.
Cons: Internet access available in all public space
Our room was clean, and the bathroom shower superb! The lack of noise from the rooms either side was a nice surprise and the thermostat in our room functioned efficiently. However... while I'm sure the hotel room rate was good value it was only because nothing was included. That internet activity was not included for at least the lobby was a disgrace. We understood abnout breakfast, and so long as you avoided the scrambled egg, the other options were quite nice. Odd and expensive but nice. That the fitness facilities were not open was sad, but understandable given that we were there over Christmas. Overall, this was an experience that was just fine. How we ended up there - in a South Reading Industrial Area - as opposed to the Winersh property we thought we had booked remains a mystery!

Good hotel, overpriced for WifiPosted Jan 1, 2014
Pros: Clean, great price, location
Cons: Free wifi
Location: Reading is great for shopping, business, and Costco not too far.
Good hotel, nice clean, was very cheep to stay too, but there is no free wifi, and the wifi is way overpriced, you can get free wifi at McDonnalds and most pubs, why not hotel?

All staff singing from the same customer relations song sheet. They all put the client first so that you felt comfortable with the quality of service. Good value for money.

Wanted to change rooms because of a connecting door to the other room. Within 2 minutes they changed our room. Was very pleased with their service
