City centre hotel well located for shopsPosted Mar 5, 2014
Location: Oracle shopping centre close to railway station
Good clean comfortable city centre hotel. Rather noisy due to group of people out to party until late in the night who obviously ha no consideration for other guests.

Good hotel in the centre of ReadingPosted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Breakfast (via room service) was lovely.
Cons: As per my 3 points above
Location: Excellent location if you are looking for pubs/clubs/trains/buses in Reading
Ideal hotel in the centre of Reading but little things in the room let it down slightly. 1. Only 2 pillows in the room between 2 of us 2. Shower not great 3. Quite noisy air conditioning

Staff excellent. Executive room good.Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, room
Cons: Fitness facility
Location: Located in close proximity to rail station. Lots of shops, restaurants and pubs in close proximity.
I've stayed twice at this hotel and both times upgraded to the executive rooms (so I don't know their standard rooms). The exec room is well appointed, modern and conducive to getting work done or relaxing. Location of the hotel is ideal with its proximity to the rail station.

Very clean hotel, with friendly staff and great proximity to bars etc. Also easy access to train and bus services. Would recommend.

quite a pleasant stayPosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: very neat and staff are very polite. can't ask for more.
Cons: pillow. please provide better quality pillows - usually one soft and one medium hardness will keep most customers happy.
possibly the most convenient location to the reading station. Staff are very very polite and helpful. Single beds are more like 1.5x single beds so more than enough room, even for my partner who is heavy. there's some minor wear and tear where the bathroom is and curtains are stained but it's ok. very strange there's both bath and shower cubicles but very nice. the toilet however is separated to where the bathroom is - so it's very strange given there is room for a bath as well as shower but can't fit the toilet together. haven't tired their food/ wifi/ gym etc but in general the hotel is clean, comfy enough, could have provided better pillows though. A lot more expensive than other hotels but given the location and i don't like walking the price is still acceptable. I am very happy overall except to bring my own pillow next time.

Perfection, could not fault it - again!Posted Nov 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is 2 mins from station right in the heart of the City. Amazingly it is quiet with the window closed. Spotless, comfortable and great facilities (pool and gym for free) I was on the 11th floor with great views. Breakfast excellent (£3 quid to have it delivered to your room- go for it) Well done. Nice staff too.

brilliant hotelPosted Nov 1, 2013
the hotel is great n nice for a relaxing break, nice bath room and perfect location next to the station, I will definitely go there again. however the overnight parking is £14 per night and we couldn't figure out how to get the steam away in the bath room n got the room steamy for a while
