Great location but self-service to the extreem

Pros: Location
Cons: Much. Quality of furniture - staff.... I did not see a soul in the 60 hours I was there.
Had no idea that I should have received an email in order to get into the front door of the building. Called the mobile number stuck to the door for after hours service and got no answer - left a number of messages which were never returned, Spent over an hour waiting outside (after having spent 20+ hours travelling to get there) in the hope that someone staying there could let me in. Not quite sure why I did not give up. My call was answered by a lovely asian family who were equally shocked at the lack of staff (read none) on site and had also tried to call the 'out of hours number' with the same no answer. As they had checked in a few days prior they had the key to my key... a copy of the famous email that included the door code and safe code required to get hold of the key to the studio apartment that I was meant to be staying in. Once in the door, things improved however studio was not clean, sink/shower wastes slow to drain... quality of furniture - terrible but otherwise served a purpose and I was thankful for the location, Tesco's on the door step and it was reasonably quite (although I was at a room at the back of the hotel).
