Pleasant hotel close to the riverPosted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: Nice location with good facilities.
Cons: Mattresses and dusting (cobwebs near the ceiling).
Location: Just down from Eton College and 10 minutes from Windsor Castle and its high street. A good stay if travelling from Heathrow (15 minutes away).
Front office staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was fine, although the mattress felt a little tired. Housekeeping staff entered the room without barely waiting for a reply to her knock. None of this made for a terrible experience, as these comments are minor niggles. It is somewhere we would return to as the overall stay went well.

Perfect for a short break in Eton. Windsor is easily walkable. Would definitely stay there again!

Comfortable, pleasant hotel on Eton High Street. Walking distance to train stations and Windsor Castle. No lift. Excellent breakfast available at additional cost.

OK HotelPosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was fine apart from my room being next the main entrance. Woken early hours so it ruined my stay.

Great LocationPosted Oct 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a great location in Eton High Street about 400 yards from the Thames and the bridge that takes you over into Windsor. There is a very nice bar to have a drink in and all the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The free parking was a real bonus as well. The rooms were a good size and comfortable as was the bathroom. Our only gripe was the carpets and paintwork really desperately needed a clean in the hallway - we did point this out and the manageress agreed and said it would be sorted out.

CUTE PLACEPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Christopher Hotel is very cute small place based in Eaton/Windsor. It's close to the river and all the Windsor's attractions. Highly recommended.

Good hotel for dog loversPosted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Freedom with dogs and facility at the rear to walk them
Cons: Need of better temperature control in room
Very comfortable but possibly when the weather is very hot the fan in the room...20- is not enough as there is no through circulation of air. Thank you

You can do betterPosted May 7, 2013
Cons: As commented above.
Location: On the High Street in Eton.
Compared to other hotels we stayed at in busy tourist destinations (in England), the room was overpriced, not as clean (filthy carpet), noisy and too warm (A/C not functioning well). Additionally, unlike the other hotels which included breakfast in the rate, we were charged an additional 36 pounds for six slices of toast, a coffee and two teas. Not impressed.

Great locationPosted Feb 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Perfect location for visiting Windsor main criticism is that the shower wasn't very powerful at all. We also had a 3 person room and the sofa Bed for the third person was broken and extremely uncomfortable. Staff were lovely though so that made the experience a positive one.
