An average "business" hotelPosted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Reception very friendly and efficient. Breakfast choice good and efficient service. Large car park Free WiFi but it is slow
Cons: TV has lots of choice but can't get Radio 4. Aircon seemed a bit unresponsive. Lifts slow
Location: Easy to find coming into Bracknell from M4.
I could not get any cold water from the cold water tap in my room! Turning the tap to the right I got hot water; turning to the left I got very hot water. I found it impossible to get the shower cool enough to be comfortable. Not a problem I have encountered here before so perhaps specific to just my room.

Comforts of homePosted Oct 7, 2014
Cons: No comments
Location: We only stayed one night.
We stayed for one night. Enjoyed the experience and we ate in the restaurant for our evening meal. We were well looked after from the minute we arrived till the time we left. Staff were friendly and most helpful......particularly when we were given help to take our luggage to our room.

Lovely stayPosted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Size and comfort of the room. Wardrobe with hangers, tea and coffee making facilities, well lit bathroom, nice window, film purchase option.
Cons: The bed was a little on the small side, as was the bath. Everything else was great!
Location: There are some supermarkets in driving distance, and the hotel is not far off the motorway so easy to access. We didn't explore the local area.
We were pleasantly surprised with the double room. It was a good size, comfortable room with good facilities. Staff were very friendly. The lobby decoration is a little outdated but that didn't affect our stay in any way and the room decoration was just right. Comfortable bed, option to purchase films and good location, close to the motorway. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Good facilities highly recommendPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The room and leisure facilities.
Location: Nice quiet location with easy access to Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell as long as you have a car. Not ideal if traveling by public transport.
Booked at last minute so good value. Bed was a bit soft and there was no mini fridge but other than that it is an excellent hotel with good facilities and helpful staff.

A large popular and well placed HotelPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, Comfortable and clean. Pool, Gym and Spa. Has everything in one location = fine dining / pub style eating and own nightclub.
Cons: A very busy breakfast restaurant with overflow tables in the lounge bar. Selection should include fried egg option & fresh fruit needed refilling
Location: Good location for Legoland, Thorpe park, Chessington, Windsor and Corel reef. Reading University just 13 minutes away
Stayed as a couple for just one night. The Hotel was very busy and one of the restaurants was already fully booked for evening meal. The Hotel is situated on a very busy road but is set back and very attractive. All areas of the hotel seemed clean and well maintained. The Classic Double bedroom was spacious and comfortable and had air conditioning, it had a nice bathroom but shower had low water pressure and I would take my own hairdryer next time. I did use the leisure facilities which are really nice. Hotel has it's own Nightclub Friday and Saturday nights and the noise could be heard with the window open. Both my husband & I enjoyed our stay and will book to stay next time we visit our son at Reading University, next time I will make a reservation to eat in the Bier Keller Restaurant. Staff all friendly/helpful. A nice buffet style help your self breakfast that would suite most taste's.

Tired Hotel -needs major updatePosted Sep 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Tired old hotel. Needs major update. Service was"ok" at best. Restaurant was horrible for dinner. All 5 guests complained of just boring, likely frozen then fried food. Even the waitress questioned why were ordering the food. The beds were as hard as concrete...

Tired and in need of renovationPosted Sep 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Have stayed previously and it is what I expected, convenient for where I needed to be the next morning. The hotel is tired and in need of renovation, the staff are helpful but not overly so. Last time I stayed both hot and cold taps in the room delivered hot water, a year later the same happened, when I mentioned it at check out I was told the hotel was aware of the problem and it had only happened recently - couldn't be bothered to argue. Overpriced for what it is.

Staff are great. Public facilities good. Rooms..Posted Sep 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
The public facilities at the Coppid Beech were fine, and the staff were really friendly and helpful (not surprised as it seemed there were only a handful of people staying!). But the rooms themselves are a little dated. Bed was comfy though!
