5 minutes drive to Windsor Castle

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: locations - it was like being in the middle of the countryside
Cons: it was impossible to get a mobile phone signal or maintain internet connection - through no fault of the hotel
Location: few minutes drive from Windsor town centre and all it's attractions, changing of the guards, boat trips etc
I was unwell during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful in locating a walk in centre for us. The food is lovely and all home cooked. We will definitely return when I am fully fit and able to do the food and wine justice

Excellent location for what we needed.

Pros: Nice quiet location, could sit outside on a evening having a drink and watch planes using Heathrow.
Near to Heathrow, Windsor and Wentworth, which is where we needed to be so as to visit our Son who is currently training for BA. The only fault about the room was the poor flow of hot water from the basin tap, the shower was excellent, the room was nice and clean the staff were very helpful.

Pros: nothing
Cons: sound proffing, bettr chose of food, and get the waiter trained in customer service.
Location: stayed due to a family 50th birthday at Eton Dorney.
bad, very noisey, lack of chose at breakfast, would not stay again or recommend to anyone, shame as I sure it could of been nice.

Small room, excellent breakfast, welcoming staff. Value for money. Heathrow flights can be noisy.

Was not made to feel welcome

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: location was good - we had our own transport which made access easy - not sure how you would go without a car
Cons: Male owner needs to attend a PR course!
Location: About 10-15 minutes from WIndsor centre - depending on roadworks - lots to do around the area and good proximity to Heathrow
Felt rather unwelcome at this establishment - the owner's wife was friendly the next morning but we felt very uncomfortable in the presence of the male owner especially at breakfast when he made it quite clear we were really inconveniencing him by him having to cook our breakfast at 8.45am (we had been sitting there unnoticed since 8.30) - we had been told the night before that breakfast was from 7.30 to 9.15pm. The room was basic but quite comfortable and quiet and we welcomed the pressure of the shower in the ensuite.
