“Basic”
very basic with a reasonable breakfast. Very much a hotel whereby you get what you pay for.
“cheap and cheeful”
The hotel is very close to Charlottenberg train station which is about 5 min from Berlin HBF - so your close enough to all the touristy stuff but at a cheap price. The rooms were adequate - no tea or coffee facilities but breakfast was good.
