A little gem in the city centrePosted May 22, 2015
Pros: Location, value for money and good quality
Cons: Free WiFi
Location: The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Checkpoint Charlie, 5 minutes from Gendermenmarkt and Bebelplatz, 10 minutes from Brandenburg gate and museum island.
The hotel was perfectly located for access to all of the main sights but was quiet enough at night time to allow restful sleep. It is clean, modern and well-decorated. The staff at the hotel were generally quite good and accommodating. The pool, gym and sauna were very good and the room provided everything you might need - especially if you manage to get into an apartment room, they are bright and have plenty of space. There were some minor touches that might have improved things, like a shower gel holder that is properly fastened so it doesn't keep falling from the wall or repairs made to the moulding from the wardrobe, which had been inexplicably left inside the wardrobe. The only major improvement I would suggest would be free WiFi.

A hotel that gives you an apartment to relax inPosted May 19, 2015
Location: It is ten minutes from Spittelmarkt U-bahn, fifteen from the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt and the Brasserie Restaurant.
We booked this apart-hotel being experienced enough to know that when visiting a city in cooler weather you need somewhere to maybe spend a good deal of time. We also like to provide our own breakfast. The apartment was perfect in all respects with the added bonus of doors out into a central planted atrium for when the sun occasionally shone. What we didn't expect was that the Adina is also a very good hotel. The staff are efficient, courteous and knowledgeable; the public spaces are beautifully appointed with free wifi and the restaurant is very good indeed. We definitely recommend it.

Great apartment walking distance to attractionsPosted May 14, 2015
Pros: Size of rooms, location, pool, restaurant, bed.
Cons: Wi Fi. It played up for a couple of days and then became free for us on the third floor, so not really complaining.
Location: Walking distance to Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate etc. Close to underground station.
Everything about our stay was excellent. We had booked a studio but were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment. The view was of a construction site over the road but it was actually very interesting watching the crane drivers climb up each morning and seeing the steady progress on the building. There was very little noise. The only reason I did not give five for cleanliness was because the oven wasn't cleaned properly but that was rectified as soon as I mentioned it. We ate twice at the Alto restaurant and enjoyed the food. We also enjoyed the pool and spa, getting some different exercise from the usual walking. Berlin is a great city with a very good public transport system. We were able to get a train and bus to a stop just around the corner but chose to get a taxi back (around 22 euros). We would thoroughly recommend Adina apartments to anyone wishing to spend a few days in Berlin.

Great room for the price.Posted May 10, 2015
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The fact that it had a kitchenette was very convenient. It wasn't that close to the main tourist attractions. Closest at 10 minutes walk (Check Point Charlie). 25 minutes walk to the cathedral and main museums. Public transportation stops are around 5 minutes walking. Overall, good bang for the buck.

A comfortable apartment with excellent servicePosted May 7, 2015
Pros: See above
Location: It is a short walk from the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt square and public transport.
This is my second stay in an apartment in the Adina Hotel on Krausenstrasse. A separate bedroom and living room, full kitchen and washer-drier facilities in the apartment made a relaxing and very convenient base from which to enjoy Berlin and there are two U-Bahn stations a few minutes walk away. The public areas and lovely courtyard are a bonus. The reception staff are helpful and informative and other staff pleasant and efficient. Breakfast is very good indeed.

Good hotel within walking distance of centre.Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, great having a separate bedroom and cooking facilities.
Cons: Happy with everything that was in the hotels control.
Location: As previously said it seemed to be in a 30 min walk of the main sites of the Eastern side of Berlin.
Hotel was near underground stations although we walked most places. There was a building site opposite our room but it did not disturb us and there is so much building going on in Berlin you would be lucky to escape it. There is a supermarket within 5 minuets of the aparthotel which is really good; there is also an excellent bakery next to it. we did not eat at the hotel although it did look very nice.

Fantastic well appointed apartmentPosted Apr 8, 2015
Adina Apartments at Checkpoint Charlie was perfect for our family city break. All the amenities of a hotel, pool, restaurant, daily cleaning etc.. with the practicalities and flexibility of a really well appointed apartment. It was comfortable, within easy reach of transport options and had a couple of good play areas across the road. I highly recommend it as a base when exploring Berlin. They thought of everything including dishwasher tabs, tea towels even a couple of detergent tablets hanging by the washing machine.
