“Great place to stay”

This hotel is central and really easy to get to, only a 1 minute walk from the underground station. We were really impressed with the room, it was clean, warm, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was really good with shower creme supplied! We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

“Agon Aldea Berlin”

The hotel is well placed between the east and west centres of Berlin and both can be reached within 30mins on foot or by the s-bahn station a minute from the hotel. Our room was comfortable, had adequate space for clothes,a tv and minibar, a free safety deposit box and was well cleaned every day. The bathroom was fine although the shower cubicles arent the biggest. The staff were pleasant and all spoke english. I would recommend this hotel, the only negatives being the prositutes who work on almost every street corner in the surrounding area and the fact that there is no luggage room (bags/cases are left in the dining area).

“Value for money”

It is a good value hotel in a very convenient location for west Berlin. However, the U-Bahn will take you conveniently to the trendier bits of Berlin. Staff friendly.

“Perfect mix of convenience at cheap Berlin prices”

Our stay at the Aldea was great. Staff were extremely helpful, cleanliness was spot on as all the important bits, especially bathroom, were done daily. Some comments argued about how small the toilet/shower room was, but i beg to differ as it was fit for purpose. Only inconveniences were Cable TV (all German channels) and no kettle or minibar in the room (no hot tea early morning or late night and no way of preserving the odd drink or cheese you bought from the market). One way to counter that, we found, was to go to 24h Kaiser supermarket up Nollendorf Platz or to Di Van, the Turkish deli nearby, which servers great fresh food and stays open until 12 AM. The location is just 2 minutes away from the Bulow Strasse U2 line which is the main line one would be using in Berlin. Also easy to get to from Tegel (15-20m and it only cost us 18 Euros one way). All in all, we are very pleased with out stay there and we'd do it again.

Very good location. Free wifi is also a plus. If you don't have your own computer, hotel has one near the reception that you can use free of charge.

“Good Basic Hotel”

Hotel was east to find as not far from Beüllowstaße u bahn on U2 line, staff were friendly & very helpful. There is a safe in the room which was easy to use, The room was clean ,comfortable & tidied daily. The ensuite toilet & shower was clean & compact. I was traveling alone & felt safe in the surrounding area. Nice supermarket not to far so as able to pick up nibbles & water for room with no dramas. It's a basic Hotel But I went to see Berlin not the inside if my room , as the hotel is so near to the station you are able to explore Berlin with ease . I would stay again :)

“Great hotel, great location, would recommend!”

Room was very clean and neat, staff were friendly. Free WiFi was very useful to planning routes etc. Good range of TV channels (albeit in German but what else can you expect!) including 2 sports channels for those interested. Had a room facing the courtyard which meant it was very quiet although the street it is on doesn't seem to get that noisy. The location is fantastic. You can see the U-bahn stop from the hotel and you are not more than 10 mins or so from anywhere in the city. There are bars around the hotel and the street behind that runs parallel (Winterfeldstrasse) is full of restaurants and bars. I must recommend the Winterfeld Restaurant which is a fantastic Italian at very reasonable prices. The only small criticism I would have is that the double room was 2 single beds pushed together but this did not detract from a nice hotel, in a good location and very reasonably priced. I would recommend. PS For those travelling by train from the airport Berlin Schoenefeld, If you take the Airport Express as far as Zoologischer Garten and then swap onto the U-Bahn line U2 towards Pankow, Burlowstrasse is 3 stops and you can see the hotel from the station. This is the best way to get there :)

“A very good place”

A very good hotel, centrally located, in walking distance from the centre of Berlin, staff is very polite and ready to help, free wi-fi, clean and cosy. I think it is a very good option for people looking for not expensive and good located place for staying and enjoying the capital of Germany. Fatima

“Good reasonably priced hotel”

Inexpensive hotel right by the metro system. Very friendly staff with an array of languages. Twin beds, a bed sofa, desk and fully openable windows. Adjustable heating. Small but perfectly equipped bathroom. Breakfast good value at 7.50euros but many local cafes to eat/drink. This is a no smoking hotel. Stayed just three nights, perfect. If an issue we were a male couple sharing a room, no issue here.

“Good hotel for the price”

We were pleased with the hotel, it was very close to the U bahn so didn't take long to get into the city centre, the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were helpful, I would certainly stay there again, if I go back to Berlin.
