“five for 3 star”

we found this hotel although 3star rated gave a5star all round service.

“Will stay here again if I go back to Berlin”

Location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the underground and less than a minute from Ku'dam. Loads of shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, and v close to city tour buses. The hotel has a very pleasant bar, breakfast is excellent and not much more expensive than the cafe's roundabout as the price includes tea, juice etc. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and good shower room. All in all, an excellent choice for a weekend in Berlin.

“value hotel convient for Ku'damm”

Good value hotel, short walk from Kudammstrasse, Zoo station: good value, good breakfast buffet: would recommend, and use again.

A most enjoyable experience! The hotel and its staff were first class. The hotel is very conveniently situated close to shopping, restaurants and all forms of transport. We have enjoyed many such short breaks, but the location for this hotel was an undoubted bonus.

Great place, walk to Ku'damm and zoo, bus, train, subway all close by. Artful and cozy, great FREE breakfast is not to be missed for even a single day. Employees are great too.

Couldn't fault the hotel or its wonderful staff. Just returned from a short break in Berlin and couldn't have found a better base. Handy for transport around the city (and the airport bus too) Superb shopping on our doorstep and a welcoming bar before retiring for the night. Thank you. Read previous reviews before we left,none of the complaints could be upheld .... but the praise could!!

“Surprisingly Great Hotel”

We arrived after a long flight and front desk was friendly & efficient. Hotel is decorated very nicely. Room was spotless and included mini bar, flat panel TV, & had a great large bathroom. Two large windows opened onto a quiet courtyard. Bathroom was very modern and had a great shower too. Plenty of storage for luggage and clothes in the corner wardrobe. We couldn't believe the value for the $$ we paid. I plan on visiting Berlin next year and will stay at this Hotel. The Zoo Station U&S Bahn are only 3 blocks away as is the main Bus station which is the stop for the X19 bus from the TXL airport. Internet cafe is also located at this terminal inside Dunkin Donuts. There is a very good restaurant (recommended by the front desk) right across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe. The typical German food is delicious and reasonably priced. If you take the S-Bahn to the Tiergarten station you will also find a restaurant where the locals go. GREAT food and Good prices. (It has typical long wooden tables and you sit with the locals. We really enjoyed the food & prices. You can't go wrong with this hotel for many reasons

“Good hotel in a nice area”

This is a very nice hotel in a fashionable area of West Berlin. There are several restaurants and bars nearby and the hotel is very close to the U-Bahn for getting around the whole city. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

“Nice weekend stay in Berlin”

Good hotel - great location - rooms nice, clean - hotel breakfast was not included in rate but worth buying - word of advice - ask for room away from street - there is club across the road and can be quite noisy

“Fab little place”

Really comfy beds and a great shower. We didn't have a breakfast as wanted to experience Berlin cafe culture more but really we couldn't fault the hotel
