“Brilliant Gay Hotel”
Very stylish hotel in an ideal place for gay travellers, and definitely tailored for gay men. Even though they say "hetero" friendly, 90% of the people staying here were gay (middle of July). Staff were very friendly, and I spoke no german but they were great at explaining and helping.
It is a little expensive in comparison to some of the hotels (you do get what you pay for). The Rooms are very clean and stylish, although everything is quite dark, its in styling with the hotel. The bathroom was brilliant, and although it has been commented in another review as being "open", it has red glass that you can see through, and reminded me a little of a red-light-district experience! The shower itself though was amazing, and if you book a hotel on the power and features of a shower alone, this is where u need to stay!
A great spa area on the top floor has an outside jacuzzi, steam room, sauna room and beds to lie out on (both on the roof, or behind the windows of the top floor looking out). Guys are happy to be naked in these area's, although us brits kept our shorts on. There's also a gym with up-to-date equipment and around 7 different machines.
Breakfast is served till 2pm at weekends, and we indulged in their buffet after a hefty night out, which we thought was quite expensive at 27 euros for the two of us, but there was hot and cold food at the buffet but we'd recommend going into town (5 minutes walk) which has plenty of restaurants.
