Uncomfortable Bed
I could not find the light switch, if there was one for the steep staircase to the room. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The mattress had no padding and had deep horizontal ridges the length of it, the duvet was barely adequate. The only positive was although very dated the shower had plenty of hot water.

We arrived after dark and there were no lighted signs to identify the property. No instructions as to how to contact reception. Very tiny, almost hidden buzzer which a passer by helped us find. Receptionist very abrupt and unfriendly. Room was not what we paid for - gave us a choice of room with no hot water or room with shared toilet. Refused refund for room we booked with private bath. Said hot water tank not working. Open shower in bedroom, not a separate bathroom. Hallways and floors dirty and poorly lit. Very noisy gatherings right below our windows each night until 3am. We paid a huge price for very poor accommodations. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! It was worse than any hostel we’ve ever stayed in. This is not a hotel!!

A Very Pleasant Stay
Hotel was in a pretty convenient location, about a five minute walk from the Reichstag, and a ten minute walk from Brandenburg gate. There is a good quality restaurant/bar next door. The cleanliness of the room was fairly good, with clean sheets and towels, perhaps a clean of the mirrors and windows would make it perfect. A very good price for what you get. Staff were polite and helpful. There is a supermarket across the road for anything you may need. Would stay here again

Room was too hot, could open window, but there were roadworks outside which started early in the morning. Beds were not made the whole time we were there, the bin was emptied, but nothing else seemed to have been done to the room.

I probably didn't read the small print but the entrance is a passageway and then up to storeys to reception. A little further from Berlin Hauptbahnhof than I expected. Immaculate room, quiet facing a courtyard and helpful reception!

Quiet location and only 15 minutes walk to Brandenburg Gate. There is also a superb Italian/Steak restaurant 50 metres away on the corner.

Easy access from TXL airport via express bus (4 stops) and the local bus 245 (4 stops). Bus stops almost at front door. Hotel is two levels up. Small and good elevator. I was given two metal keys, one for the front door and one for my unit door. I was one person but was given room #2 which sleeps four. My room had a balcony ( but no outdoor furniture). If you are in room #1 please close your curtains as the guest in room #2 has full view from the balcony. The bathroom was very clean and good. The bathroom door opened only 3/4 of the way due to blockage by one of the beds. The shower door was awkward as the entrance was very narrow. Each bed had a nightstand and lamp. There was a large and bright overhead light. The TV was wall mounted and small, about the size of a large laptop computer. There was a desk and two chairs. The wooden parquet floor was very clean, if a bit worn. I easily took the local bus 245 to the Haupbahnhof and also Alexandra Plaza. There is a good neighborhood grocery store across the street which was surprisingly cheap by my standards. The hotel offered the option of breakfast for €10. I did much better by shopping myself. There is a decent, not great, restaurant on the ground floor. Their internet is very good! Internet was free. It worked ok, but slow and kinda flaky.

Older dorm-like building which probably been speedily refurbished into hotel. most facilities (i.e. bathroom, shower cabin, kitchen isle, bedding etc.) are rather outdated. stains at old walls and door frames paints remain on. basic soap and shampoo. own breakfast facilities are absent while cafeteria next door offers simplest choice. Central train station (Hauptbahnhof) is almost 1 km away which is 3 bus stops. Won't stay in here again, ever! :(

There is a good restaurant right on the premises. A good bus service runs regularly to and from the station, and it is within walking distance if you prefer.

It was an average hotel. Close to the railway station. Not easy to get to the city area. The receptionist was not very welcoming when we arrived. She pointed to a form to fill in and handed us keys. She did not speak English which made it hard to ask any questions.

Simple hotel close to main station
Nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean for a budget hotel. Can walk to main station and there is a bus stop close by. Small cafes and restaurants nearby but speaking German helps.

There are far better places in Berlin
I booked this hotel fairly late and there was little choice. I don't often post negative reviews but this hotel went out of its way to annoy me. The single room was outrageously small for the price I paid, the reception was more than amateurish, when I paid for the breakfast the change was given back in a pile of 5ct coins, the breakfast itself was a disgrace. Never again

Disappointing hotel.
No hotel facilities. Lousy wifi. No elevator. We were on the 4th floor. Run down needs updating. No fan or air conditioning. Staff doesn't speak English well. Difficult to communicate. Wouldn't recommend. Not good value for your money. Location is good.

A nice and reasonable hotel.
It is a little hotel with an anonymous entrance. The hotel is close to Hauptbahnhof. It was also close to the place I had a Meeting. The room was clean and quiet. It is also withing walking distance to the city centrum.The reasonable price makes it most attractive. when you only sleep in the hotel this makes it most attractive. Buss from Tegel stops in walking distance from the hotell in the same street..

Very old worn out furniture Room not clean. So-called tv set picture upside down, wrong colors. Used it just for overnight stay because it was close to main station. For the same price you get far more better accommodation. NEVER AGAIN!!

First of all, the room was not upto the hotel standards with the prices I paid.It had a separate toilet and the bathroom didn't had any covers for family privacy. WiFi wasn't working in my room. The reception was in the second floor and the lift was too small. There was no intercom in the room as well. Its not so close by walk to Hauptbahnhof as it states by its name.

It is an old hotel - No problem for me The floor creaks when you walk - No problem for me Wifi connection is very very very poor - Big big big problem The hotel was comfortable and the room and the toilet was clean. We had to check in late at about 2am and thankfully the hotel allowed it. It is close to Berlin Central Station but not as close as the description (600meter). More like 900meter from Central Station.

The hotel stunk of smoke when we arrived, which gradually faded over the 3 days. All decor was very old, with carpets fraying. The room was clean but not worth anywhere near the €120 a night we paid for 3 nights. The walls were paper thin, so do not expect a good night if anybody decides to come back late,
