Good Location and Friendly StaffPosted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: It was on a good tram and U and S train routes.
Cons: Room was a little stuffy so we kept the window open at night.
Location: Very near Veganz, a vegan supermarket and cafe, which is worth visiting.
We arrived late but staff were still on hand as they share a restaurant. The room was quiet and in a great location for exploring the old eastern part of Berlin.

Easy walk from train station, clean, quietPosted Jan 15, 2014
Pros: Price, location, and cleanliness
Location: The location was perfect to walk to/from the train. Numerous restaurants, cafes and shops line the streets.
The location was perfect to walk to/from the train. Numerous restaurants, cafes and shops line the streets. The place itself was clean & simple. I stayed in a single room with two beds. The room was fine for one but may be a bit cramped for two--although perfect if you're just planning to be there for sleeping. The bed & pillows were quite comfortable. There was also a small refrigerator in the room which was nice to have. And the price was fantastic!

Hip neighborhoodPosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The five of us stayed in this hotel…which actually is a typical German “Wohnung” turned into a hotel apartment, for three nights in July and had a great time. The neighborhood, Prenzlauer Berg, is great if you want to experience the young and hip side of the town. Lots of street cafes, inexpensive restaurants (….a very highly recommended Vietnamese one right across the street!) and places to enjoy a beer after a long day of sightseeing. Also, a lot of small stores and boutiques to shop in or just check out their unique merchandise. The public transport hubs (S and U Bahn) are close by and run very frequently. The hotel offers an inexpensive breakfast buffet…highly recommended. You can sit outside and sip your coffee while watching the scenery. Very European! Overall, we can highly recommend this hotel.
Great value, good neighborhood, close to centerPosted Aug 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great value; good location -- easy 10-minute ride to museum island/other attractions in city center; good neighborhood -- good energy, choices of bars/restaurants; love the wine/tapas place next door; amazing breakfast; cheerful, modern, clean, comfortable rooms. We are a family with kids ages 5 and 7, and the room was perfect. I was told our room would have 2 rooms and it was one (but 1 worked out just fine). WiFi didn't work in our room but did in public areas, which was fine. Don't count on any "front desk help" -- e.g., tourism tips -- it's a no-fuss kind of place.
