Loved this small and friendly hotel. Close to all local transportation, grocery store, dining, and shopping. Super friendly and helpful 24 hr staff.

Had a great time, front desk guy deserves a raise. Wonderful customer service. Breakfast was very good. Only down side is there is an old creepy man whi will stare at you from the bushes.

We opted for the room with the bunkbeds for our family of five. It was nice compact room. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn are very conveniently within walking distance. Parking was easy. There is a nice buffet style breakfast available as well as other bakery options nearby. Plenty of restaurants nearby for lunches and suppers. There is also a very nice park nearby with two historical bunkers with great views of the area.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and location in Berlin. It is located close to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations in a lively neighborhood, yet the rooms are quiet. Great breakfast and value for the money. If you want to park on property, ensure you make a reservation early, otherwise there is street parking available. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great for a family of 5!
Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Location was a bit of a ways outside of downtown but we didn’t mind walking as That was a part of experiencing Berlin. The area was fairly quiet and safe. Parking was limited but we managed to find a spot on the street side. Breakfast was enjoyable! Overall, we would stay again! Great value.

When we got to our room it did not have a kettle and tea/coffee facilities, which we did not realise beforehand. When we asked for cups of hot water from the bar to make our own from tea/coffee purchased we were charged £2 per cup of hot water. The bar staff were quite unhelpful about this when we queried it. The website does state that facilities are in available. Disappointed.

Good location and close to station for travel to centre of Berlin. Staff friendly and very helpful. Would be good to have some signs on each floor to remind guests to be quiet at night / early morning as other guests might be sleeping!

A hotel with plusses and minuses.
This is not a great hotel, and less convenient to the metro than one would expect, but it does have its plusses. The rooms are rather cramped, and include more beds than needed or requested, wasting even more space. The noise from outside is considerable. There is no refrigerator, and the safe is quite small. The bathroom is sufficient, and well designed, though the shower hook doesn't quite fit the attachment. The beds are quite comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent with great variety, good quality and an attentive staff. This is the best part of staying here. The wifi however is not secured, so many pages refuse to load on my tablet. There are no English language Tv stations available, unlike every other hotel where we have stayed during our seven weeks in Europe (and 14 hotels). One thus can't even get the news. This hotel, even at the lower end of options in Berlin, is still expensive, and Berlin is one of the least interesting cities we have visited on this trip.

Not amazing... but had many pros
Overall our stay was enjoyable. Pros: The hotel is very close to the train station. Breakfast was good. The hotel offers a bagged lunch option for $5/person, which we took advantage of to save time and money while exploring the city. The lobby offers beer, wine, and coffee drinks that were nice to enjoy. Cons: It was warm so we slept with the windows open, however the street traffic was very loud. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at night. The hotel itself was not conveniently located to attractions in the city (but the train station was close and easy to figure out.)

This hotel is essentially a hostel for teenager school groups visiting Berlin. The location is convenient to the S/U lines and the breakfast buffet is excellent with lovely patio seating. However, it can be noisy especially if you have to keep the windows open on a hot night. Moreover, the thump of footfalls continues into the wee hours of the night. Avoid rooms near the staircase or facing the climbing wall if you like a quiet night's sleep!

Good value option
The hotel was located in the north of the city but had good train links to all the main places of interest so we didn’t feel detached at all. Also some local restaurants and bars if you want to stay close one evening. The rooms were basic but very clean and fine for a short break. However, air conditioning would have been welcome as it was over 30 degrees during our stay in mid June but I guess that’s part of the trade off with the price. Breakfast was good. Service was friendly. Very good value hotel.

This hotel was perfect for our family trip to Berlin. A quad room designed as a quad room with bunk beds rather than additional beds / a sofa bed that takes up floor space meant the room was spacious. A decent selection at the included continental breakfast meant even our fussiest child found plenty to east to set us up for the day. Although not especially central, it was a close walk to the station with several lines that took us to all the attractions we wanted in about 10 minutes. Only slight negative was the shampoo provided was of a lower quality so for those with longer hair I'd suggest taking your own.
