“Would stay there again”

Very comfortable hotel, handily placed for the Ku'damm and not far from two U-Bahn stations. The only negative point was the shower which was not exactly "State of the Art" We did not partake of breakfast preferring to try other places, so cannot comment on the standard and quality of the food.

“A good value hotel”

Very nice hotel. Perhaps a little far out from the centre of the city for some tastes but with the excellent public transport system just yards away, it was no problem for us. A super range of restaurants within a very short walk of the front door is also a plus point.

“affordable and comfortable”

This hotel is a little far from Berlin's attraction but good residence neighborhood and small galleries are around there. It was quiet and safe. Hotel was clean and service was good. It was nothing fancy but had everything I needed.

“Decent place to stay”

This is a good hotel for those looking for one in a central location which is not too expensive. The staff spoke English very well and were quite friendly. The single room I stayed in was clean and had a decent bathroom. There was a small TV with cable, a desk, and plenty of wardrobe space. My one complaint is that the bed had only one pillow, which was so soft that my head sank to the level of the bed! It's probably possible to get additional pillows, but I never asked. The breakfast is not included in the price and is a little expensive, so I only tried it once. There was a decent selection (breads, cold meats, cheese, juices, tea and coffee, toast, fruits...), so it offers a means to set you up for the day if you wish to go sight-seeing early. If you are looking to save money, however, it might be best to try picking up breakfast outside the hotel. The location is excellent as there are lots of bars and restaurants on Uhlandstrasse, and it's a 5-10min walk to Ku'Dam, which has many more. The Uhlandstrasse U-bahn station is located where the two roads meet, and meant it was easy to get to other parts of the city. I found it took about 30mins to get from my hotel to somewhere like Potsdamer Platz or the Brandenburg Gate. Overall, it's a decent hotel in a good location. It's not the height of luxury, but for those wanting a place to stay in a good location that won't break the bank, I can recommend it.

“Good value if you are not looking for luxury”

The room was very small however it was clean and the bathroom was very modern. The hotel is not luxurious but if you are not planning on spending that much time in the hotel it is very good value for money. The hotel is just over 5 minutes walk from the Ku'damm (the nice shopping strip) and the nearest underground station so it is in a good location.

great location...but there really isn't a bad location in berlin! good value for the money, breakfast was extra but good! close to the ku'damn and easy walk to the schoneberg area!

“Nice Place to Stay”

Hotel was handy to Zoo Gardens (which is a main meeting point for English speaking tours). Clean, room was fine, staff pleasant in nice neighbourhood. Quite a busy road nearby, but was given a room on a quiet side of hotel. Only thing to note, was that the walls were a bit thin - but this was not a major issue.

“Hotel Domus”

Hotel Domus is by no means a luxury hotel, but I had no illusions that it would be. Instead, it was a comfortable place to sleep in a good neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby. The folks at the desk speak English, and they were also able to understand and tolerate my attempts to check into my room in German. The room was small, as were the bed, shower, and especially the TV (although it offered about 40 channels), but all was well within European standards. The one concern I had was fixed promptly. The location is fairly central, three blocks from KuDamm, perhaps a mile or so from Zoologischer Garten. The closest U-Bahn station is perhaps a block or two away, but there is a bus stop right across the street. Breakfast is available, but was not included with my reservation. It's a fairly standard European breakfast, tasty enough, but expensive, so if you have an alternative, you're probably better off using it.

“Domus hotel on Uhlandstrasse”

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room clean with everything I needed. HOWEVER pillows are VERY soft, so don't be shy about asking for an extra. Great location. 5 minutes walk from Ku'damm, U-bahn station right on the corner as is the bus stop for the 109 to the airport. Tourist information about 200 metres along the Ku'damm towards city centre, opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. Everything you need!!!!!

“Excellent 3 star.”

Excellent 3 star. Expect German style bed. No coffee making but bottled water on tray provided. English language television restrcted to CNN, BBC World America and Russia Today. Strong hot shower.
