“Decent place to stay”
This is a good hotel for those looking for one in a central location which is not too expensive.
The staff spoke English very well and were quite friendly. The single room I stayed in was clean and had a decent bathroom. There was a small TV with cable, a desk, and plenty of wardrobe space. My one complaint is that the bed had only one pillow, which was so soft that my head sank to the level of the bed! It's probably possible to get additional pillows, but I never asked.
The breakfast is not included in the price and is a little expensive, so I only tried it once. There was a decent selection (breads, cold meats, cheese, juices, tea and coffee, toast, fruits...), so it offers a means to set you up for the day if you wish to go sight-seeing early. If you are looking to save money, however, it might be best to try picking up breakfast outside the hotel.
The location is excellent as there are lots of bars and restaurants on Uhlandstrasse, and it's a 5-10min walk to Ku'Dam, which has many more. The Uhlandstrasse U-bahn station is located where the two roads meet, and meant it was easy to get to other parts of the city. I found it took about 30mins to get from my hotel to somewhere like Potsdamer Platz or the Brandenburg Gate.
Overall, it's a decent hotel in a good location. It's not the height of luxury, but for those wanting a place to stay in a good location that won't break the bank, I can recommend it.
