“Excellent Location”

The Berlin Excelsior is good hotel and reasonably priced. This was my third stay at the this hotel and again I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast has large variety of food for the guests. The location is excellent and with public transportation it is very easy to get around the city.

Great hotel, great location. The restaurant on the expensive side, but there is plenty of places at walking distance. Transportation to anywhere close by (train and buses). Would definitely return.

“wonderful location, breakfast, extremely clean”

This is the best place to stay, right off the Zoo train / metro exit. Great shopping location and easy to get everywhere. Two twin hard beds pushed together (as in all European hotels) make a king size. Very small room, but very well done, has mini bar, TV, CNN, all the comforts. Internet in the lobby for 5 EU's a half hour. Breakfast is great, and the restaurant is a great place for dinner.

“a little expensive, but worth it”

bar, lobby, restaurant... again, a bit pricey, but very new and nice. drinks & food high quality. rooms are small, but very nice. probably not suitable for business or entertaining, but just for sleeping, showering etc, absolutely fine. one note of caution: the toilet is squeezed in between the wall & the tub... and I do mean squeezed... if you're an XL+ guy (like myself), it 's a real challenge. also, parking is a problem. the hotel has a lot, but not free (and not cheap), and usually full as it is also used by the staff. a public lot is a bit of a walk... but cheaper. street parking is closer... and even cheaper...but can get filled up late at night. still, i was there on a fri & sat night and always found street parking.

“Steve n Juli had fun in Berlin”

A couple of days in Berlin in a nice hotel, good rooms, good location ... and the heating worked well (it was a cold April)! The foyer and hallways are roomy and comfortable. The hotel is well located being close to Zoological Garten which is a hub for trains (SBahn / UBahn) and buses. There is a cafe adjacent which has the best coffee that we had in Europe this visit, and the food is a good quality and well priced ... The hotel were offering dinner meals at a 50 % reduction (after 7pm) while we were there - a great deal and almost 'silver-service'. the restaurant has a superb decor and a diverse menu. The hotel also had a small library for guests ... a nice touch!

Couldn't fault the place. Superb location. 2 minutes walk from Ku'damm and Zoologischer Garten station, therefore easy to get anywhere quickly.

“Good Business Hotel”

This hotel suits my needs exactly. Since I travel a lot on business it meets all my requirements. Well situated near the Zoological Gardens Station the bus from the airport makes its first stop. The subway station is a block away and this is the way to get around in Berlin. You can walk to many restaurants and the hotel is efficient and clean. I will definitely use this hotel again for my future visits to Berlin.
