“Recommend to anyone traveling to Berlin”

The hotel staff was great and spoke english very well. The hotel is convinent to transit lines and made getting around the city a breeze. Breakfast Buffet was excellent. Hotel bar had happy hour and served good food. Food was a little pricey but good quality. Their hambergers can be shared by two, they are huge.

“Grand City Hotel Berlin East”

Except dining everything was top. Available parking, easy access to the town. However no alternative to the pretty expensive hotel food ourlets. long walk to the nearest S-bahn station for kebab and chips. It was difficult to use the tram, as info about the transportation is very confusing (only city transportation guide). Missing instruction how to get from the hotel to the main city points.

“Nice for the price!”

The Hotel is located just steps from a tram that takes you just about everywhere. We bought a pass that allowed us to travel on all forms of public transportation without having to worry about transfers. There was no air-conditioning in our room and we faced the street, so with open window at night, the street noise was almost unbearable (I brought ear plugs, my wife did not). Breakfast was expensive, so we usually too tram to Alexander Platz and and enjoyed coffee and baked goods around the train station. The hotel's restaurant, New Orleans, was a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing with prices about the same as anywhere else. For a great price and a convenient location as far as public transportation is concerned, we would definitely stay here again....just hope there is not another heat wave and perhaps ask for a room NOT on the street side....

“Good Hotel”

The hotel was nice and the room was fairly large. The public transportation is a little bit of a walk, but they have nice sidewalk paths to walk there. The food at the restaurants was very good.

“seems like 3 star hotel”

it's 4 star hotel but interior, decoration and room equipment seems like we were in 3 star hotel. room service and everything else was fine, only the confort wasn't on the level of 4 star hotel.

“Decent hotel at an amazing price!”

The location of this hotel might not be great but for the price, you get a great deal (nice, cosy, and clean room).
