“First time in Berlin”

Arrived at 11am. Room was ready and we were allowed to straight up to our room. Had Breakfast 2 days running and was very substantial and quite reasonably priced. Forgot to Bathers in so we did'nt use the pool. All the staff were very accomadating. The room was fantastic.

My experience with "Grand Splanada Hotel" is one the best, because you find friendly people, from roon service throw administration, thanks all your and nex year I will be back.

“Warm welcome”

All the staff, from housekeeping to concierge,bent over backwards to make our stay in the hotel and in Berlin most pleasant. Everyone greeted us warmly, and any request we made was filled quickly and cheerfully. The only drawback, and that is temporary, is construction near the delightful outdoor dining courtyard; in the evening the noise stops. Others have mentioned the expensive breakfast, but it's a 3 block walk to Rosen Cafe, where a big breakfast is under 5 Euros. This hotel is wonderful.

“The Best of Berlin”

From start to finish we received an extremely high level of customer service and were made to feel welcome by all staff. The hotel and rooms were spotless and the facilities were excellent. Although the hotel was not central it was on a bus route or walkable in 10 - 15 minutes. It is situated on a canal and was peaceful. The surrounding area had a number of bars and restaurants so you were not confined to the hotel if you did not want to be. We are already planning our return trip

“'Top Hotel'.”

Great Hotel, not centrally located, but not completely out of the way either as some reviews would have you believe. The transport system is so good you're never far away from anything. Helpful, friendly and knowledgable staff at the hotel. Bus stop 2 mins walk away, U-Bahn stop 10 mins walk away. Supermarkets nearby. Everything you need really. Would definately go back if we were ever in Berlin again. Highly recommended.

Great hotel! Not very close to attractions but in a beautiful location.

“A great base for those who don't mind being slightly outside the city centre.”

The hotel offered us a comfortable and spacious room which was well-maintained, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The front of house staff were welcoming and helpful. We used the swimming pool, not the largest but big enough to have a refreshing dip in a pleasant environment. We didn't partake of the breakfast at the hotel because of the price but there were plenty of options nearby. It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk up to Potsdamer Platz but if you prefer public transport, you are within a 5 minute walk of a handy bus route and it's 10 minutes walk to the nearest train station. We were only using the hotel to sleep but it was more than adequate. 5 star standard, no noise from other guests and if you enjoy a walk, then it's position just outside the centre will not put you off.

“Great City Hotel”

Can't fault the Hotel in any way as it was exceptional value for money. Although the breakfasts were expensive at 19 Euro the quality was beyond compare.

“Very upmarket hotel”

Very good quality hotel and was very good value for money.

“Grand Hotel”

Very friendly all around. Everyone spoke English and was very knowledgeable of the area. Hotel was about a 10-15 euro taxi ride to man areas of interest in Berlin.
