Good hotel. Staff were extremely helpful. Good breakfast, kept us going all day. Very clean and warm. The hotel is in the main shopping area but you need to use public transport to get to the historic centre.

“Great place to stay”

Excellent location. Bit worried about the proximity of the train tracks when we first saw our room but the double glazing meant me had no trouble sleeping. Really helpful staff and the breakfast was amazing. Lack of storage in the room was the only downside - a few drawers would have been welcome. We had to keep our unmentionables in the case. Would definitely stay there again.

“Hampton by Hilton; delivers what it says”

Our four night stay at the Hampton was ideal for a week's holiday in Berlin. Minutes from the zoo and the main shopping area it was also ideally located to take a city tour or to get a bus, train or underground to further parts of the city. The staff were excellent, the hotel clean and well presented and the breakfast was all we required as fuel for an early start in the morning. Having stayed in far more expensive hotels in American and other European cities the Hampton does what it promises; an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. Pay more for other facilities if you prefer but this offers all one needs for a city break. The only gripe; there were no drawers in the room for small items but who cares; we did not need them after all!

“Excellent choice in Berlin”

The Hampton by Hilton in Berlin is a great hotel. Rooms that are sleek and modern; the cleanest bathroom in the world and an outstanding front desk staff. Arriving at the hotel from Tegel Airport is a breeze. I took bus #109 and got off at Uhlandstrasse - you then cross the street and the hotel is just a short walk. Because I was in Berlin for 7 days, I purchased a 7-day transit pass at the airport for 27.20 Euro. The transit pass was good on the buses, trams, U-bahn and the S-bahn. The Internet is free - just make sure you get the ID and password from the front desk staff. Breakfast was very good - bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes, meat, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and several strengths of coffee and a selection of teas. After eating breakfast I wasn't hungry again until dinner time. There are plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood. The only item the room lacks is a safe. I took a small netbook on the trip and I just put it in the safety deposit box at the front desk before leaving for the day. No problem at all. I especially appreciated the fact that this hotel is business oriented - mostly business folks during the week and more tourists on the weekend consisting of a mature, well behaved travelers. p.s. The hotel had the most comfortable bed in the world - nice and firm with great soft pillows. Most mornings I didn't want to get out of bed. The duvets are washed/cleaned after each guest.

“Excellent”

The Hampton Berlin is modern, clean and comfortable. It is in a great location just off the Ku'damm and a few blocks away from zoo station. The staff are excellent. The inclusive breakfast is very good with hot and cold food. The rooms are spacious but storeage space is a bit limited. There is no safe in the room but reception have safety deposit boxes which are free to use. As well as free wifi througout the hotel there are 3 PCs with free internet access and a printer near the bar. Overall this is a great hotel and is really good value for money.

“Would definitely use this hotel again if I return to Berlin”

Went to Berlin with my wife for a 6 day sight seeing trip, We flew into Schonfield Airport making our way to the hotel using public transport. This was very easy as the hotel is within 10 minutes walk of the train station at the zoo. It is also within easy walking distance of all other transport links making the hotel an ideal base from which to discover the city. The hotel is situated right next to the a busy train line and our room was right above the line. This wasn't a problem though as there was very little noise from passing trains and certainly wasn't enough to cause us any concern. The hotel is modern with fresh decor and pleasant lighting all of which adds up to a welcoming environment. The reception staff were very professional, welcoming and spoke English with confidence. In fact all the staff that we met very capable and more than willing to provide a good service. They were all immaculately turned out which again conveyed a very good image of the hotel. Our room was very comfortable. It was very clean on our arrival and was maintained in this condition throughout our stay. A real plus was the breakfast provided by hotel within the cost of the room. It was excellent with a choice of hot or cold food. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely use it again should I return to Berlin. Needless to say I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any other persons considering a stay in Berlin.

“a fantastic 3 nights”

we stayed for 3 nights along with 2 other couples.the staff were friendly and really helpful.nothing seemed too much trouble for them.the rooms were spotless,the beds very comfy.we were overlooking the rail track but didn't really hear much noise but were aware of the trains passing.breakfast was good but it did get busy at about 9.we always found somewhere for the 6 of us to sit together.we all got 72hr berlin welcome cards from reception.they're great things to have.we used them non stop.there are plenty of good places to eat in the area.get a list from reception.we tried a couple of them and the food was good and the price ok.be careful if you drink in the bar when you get back from a night out.the spirit levels are a bit on the large side.(i lost 2 hrs somewhere)but i'm not complaining.don't know if we'll go back to berlin but i'd be more than happy to stay a hamton hotel again
