“A Hotel You Must Stay In Berlin”

nice location, friendly staff, rooms are bigger compared to other hotel chains, cheap parking fee...higly recommended

Everything was very nice, the room big and very clean, comfortable bed and bath and great service. free wifi worked fine. we would be happy to go back any time!

“Great Hotel on West Side of Berlin”

Room was huge, quiet, with large windows that opened and a great bathroom. Location is good for seeing the city, and access to S-bahn. Highly recommended.

“Convenient and Funtional”

Hecker's Hotel has a location that cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Berlin's West, it is located on a quiet side street, yet only a heartbeat away from the Kudamm. Transport is also very close by. The hotel is quiet, clean and very well-run. That being said, it is also a little sterile, and personal service is a bit distant.

“An excellent base for a trip to Berlin”

The hotel is near the S-bahn, U-bahn, buses and shops (although visitors should note that the U-bahn line is currently out of use). Rooms are large and quiet despite being so near the Kurfuerstendam. It has a lovely small terrace on the 5th floor which few people used. The only drawback we found is that rooms do not have tea and coffee making facilities

“Good but take earplugs”

Stayed for four nights in July this year during Berlin's heatwave (30 degrees plus. The room was clean, large and comfortable however I expected air conditioning as listed on the website. Unfortunately this was not the case and due to the extreme heat had to leave the windows open. Here lies the problem situated directly opposite the Heckers is a very noisy bar which is open until 6 in the morning making sleep impossible. Otherwise the Hotel was fine and comfortable and ideally situated for my city break

“Excellent Location”

Good comfortable, modern hotel just a few minutes walk from the nearest Underground station. Literally 50 yards from the Ku'damm and its shops and restaurants. Excellent location for a short visit to Berlin.

“Great Location”

It has a great location to the Kurfuerstendamm and its surrounding activities. The hotel was clean and the room was large, a rarity in most of Europe. close to a lot of restaurants, subway and shopping. We'd stay there again, in a minute.

“Berlin is great!”

Great hotel, great rooms. The staff mislead us on a few things about the city of Berlin - so don't trust them to know all the details. Nonetheless they were very helpful and accommodating. The attached restaurant is nothing to brag about. Poor service, snobby waiters, very rude and upsetting.

“A hotel full of surprises.”

A convienent location just off Kurfuerstendamm. Decor a bit dated as it is very much 1990's business hotel come apartment. However, rooms are large. Some surprises include the kitchen in a cupboard in the walk in wardrobe area. Another surprise, not so pleasant, is the charge for the continental breakfast. It came as a surprise as it was not explained that the room did not include breakfast. We were happily greeted at reception on checking in with information when breakfast was but not what the charge for the breakfast was. On checking out the surprise of paying three days breakfast left us surprised and short of euros on our last few hours in Berlin.
