Pros: the spa, the foyer, the atmosphere. the friendliness. the location
Cons: cheaper breakfast would have been good. the hairdryers were of poor quality and not powerful enough- surprised when everything else was top notch
Location: great spot to walk to all the main tourist attractions
Great location for the main tourist attractions. Super friendly and attentive staff. impressive foyer and an amazing spa that you don't really want to leave . A real treat to stay at the hotel although we didn't have breakfast there as it was too expensive.

Great Hotel in excellent location

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: pure luxury and class
Cons: tea/coffee facilities in room would be nice.
Location: Great location, walking distance to museums, also great Zoo not too far away. Tiergarten park across the road.
this was really the best hotel i have ever stayed in. Had everything you could possibly ask for and the staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were outstanding and there was everything you could ask for. The price we paid was so reasonable for what we were got. Would recommend to anyone . For eating out there are some lovely places across the road from the back entrance opposite the memorials. Please also make sure you visit Berlin Zoo, it was amazing.

Classy and central base for doing Berlin

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. The experience of staying in a big swanky hotel that would normally be out of our price range. Very helpful concierge.
Cons: There were some minor issues with the room. Shower head didn't sit in its cradle properly. Cupboard lights staying on after the doors had been shut.
Location: Within a stone's throw of the Brandenburg gate and Reichstag. Walking distance of Museum Island and Sony Centre.
The Hotel Adlon has genuine class: a red carpet at the door, flunkies to take the luggage, a huge central atrium with piano player. Service on check-in excellent - less so on checkout when we hadn't spent out on extras, which I suspect is easy to do if you're not careful. The hotel deal was surprisingly reasonable, but we wisely forwent breakfast (€47) or any extras, though free wifi (and a tethered ipad) was thrown in. Not sure what happened to the free newspaper: a maid knocked on the door and opened it at 8:15am on the first morning and mentioned something about it, but I'm not sure what. Be sure to have the 'do not disturb' light illuminated until you're dressed! Room décor was tasteful but very dark panelling made it difficult to see anything, particularly the light switches... On the whole a good experience, with a comfortable bed and quiet room. Recommended.
