Great hotel with excellent staff
It was overall a great stay. Only a couple of minor things, there was a cigarette pack left in the bin, and there seem to be a cap under the door, which meant that you heard every conversation in the corridor liek you were standing next to them. This wasn’t a massive problem though as it seemed everyone was there for the marathon so was generally quiet after 10pm. There was also a fair few smoker by the entrance which was ideal if you don’t like smoke, but none of these issues rained the stay. Staff was excellent, helpful and friendly

Average hotel. At check-in the clerk just looked up and said "Yes?". It seemed like I was disturbing her (Sep 6 ~2PM). They also tell you that they don't clean the rooms daily and service is only on request. But even after I requested clean-up service, when I returned after a long day out the room was not cleaned. I called housekeeping and they came in and just moved the sheets and added fresh towels. They left the damp bath mat on the floor.

Booked this property last minute and they made checking super easy and had a room available. It was clean, spacious and worked well for our days exploring Berlin. The rooms were secure, and had a safe, fridge, and iron & board.

Great location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The on-site parking was full so we had to park in a public lot which was nearby but even more expensive.

Well-placed for a five-day stay in Berlin; there's an U-Bahn station a few yards along the road, giving access to the whole city. Tiergarten and the Zoo are a short walk away, as is the famous Kurfürstendamm. Plenty of places to eat nearby if you want to stay local.

More like a business hotel .If you are looking for a leisure time with spouse this is certainly not the place. But you are travelling for business and shopping this is a good option.

Bathroon extremely tight. Diffiult to shower & Dry and wc smack against sink. Most staff excellent and helpful One man not so much, eg- he told me my bill was settled (checked computer) then next day said not so. Good breakfast. towels not always available in sauna.

For me, this is located at a convenient location, easy to commute to conference, travel, walking distance to Sbahn and other travel options. The staff were friendly and very helpful answering my questions. There is also a shop by the reception to quickly buy any food, drinks or toiletries. The water, which is what most people need regularly, was expensive but there is a supermarket 2 mins walk away to go and get it cheap. What I didn't like is the fact that the cupboard in the room was tiny to store clothes easily. While I agree that there is no need to change sheets/towels every day, the bin wasn't emptied either. Overall, I quite liked it and would probably book again in future.

Good hotel for the price
The hotel is comfortable - very comfortable bed, shower is excellent, large room, good storage. The free items in the minibar were very welcome (and replenished daily). Desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-in/out was quick and easy. Location is pretty good...very close to a big shopping area, restaurants and the zoo. Metro station is very close by. Improvements: the room was looking tired and needs painting. There was a stain on the ceiling that looks like a large bug was killed - it needs cleaning. There isn't a bar in the hotel - although we could buy beer and wine from reception, it's not the same. Breakfast (at €19) was expensive. Building/refurbishment work starting at 8am isn't a great idea.

The best part is the service . The staff was great and very welcoming . We got the room including the breakfast and that was the best decision. Continental breakfast and friendly staff with amenities like gym and sauna in the property made our stay a pleasant stay .

I understand they are trying to be eco friendly, but to not have your room serviced when staying in a hotel should be reflected in the price for subsequent nights, as you pay the same for not the same experience.

My first Scandic group hotel which was highly recommended by a friend. Firstly, there was a great friendly welcome from the reception on arrival. Breakfast was good, very good too. Then to the room. The bed was a typical 'two singles attached' design. The brackets had not been attached and the two singles kept separating through the night. Each mattress is only about 5cm thick and with this light weight would drift in the night losing the pillow in the gap. The thin duvet was surprisingly warm although it, annoyingly would slide off during the night, waking and having to be pulled back on. My main issue was that overnight temperatures were about -6c. The air-con worked effectively but there was no backup heat and the room got cold overnight. I reported this to reception on Sunday who advised there was nothing they could do and that they would report this to maintenance on Monday. Either they didn't or maintenance decided it wasn't worth dealing with as nothing had been done by the time I checked out on Tuesday. I think a good solution to this would to have offered the use of a temporary heater but this appeared not to be considered. I ended up having rather cold nights. This hotel appears to be a fairly recent refurb but in heavy rain a pool of water formed by the larger of the room windows dripping in from the top. I did feed this all back to the hotel and advised them this would be included in a review. I also advised I doubt I would stay in a Scandic again.

Very nice hotel, large rooms, comfortable beds, quiet. Close to the train for easy access to all areas in Berlin. Nice selection of snacks for purchase in the lobby. Great breakfast with vegan options.

Short but sweet stay.
We stayed for one night only. Our room was clean and spacious, and we slept very well. I only wish that for a prepaid stay, our rooms would be available before 15:00. We had been up since 04:00 travelling and arrived to the hotel around noon, so a bit more flexibility would be desirable. But overall a nice hotel.
