“Great three star hotel”

Excellent for a three star hotel. Great spot for exploring west Berlin and Potsdam etc. Expedia website under 'sold' it as it was 3 mins walk to the main zoo station excellent for all transport communication. Airport Express ran from there. Breakfast was fine Good restaurants within walking distance #can recommend: Thai Elephant, Gastst Am Steinplatz, Wiener Beisi# Would stay here again.

“Good hotel - location and service”

This hotel is excellent if you are not using their internet service. I have trouble connecting to their internet during my stay there.

“Nice friendly hotel”

A really nice friendly hotel in a great location about a 5 minute walk to Zoo station. The breakfast is quite basic but as I am not a big breakfast eater it was fine for me.

Conveniently located in trendy area of Berlin. Extremely well connected and easily accesible to/from S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Great restaurants nearby. Great shopping too. Would hope only for free wireless internet. Great breakfast.

“Excellent Value for Money”

Hotel has very good location close to the Zoo Station. Rooms were quiet, despite facing out onto the road. They were also well decorated very clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was small, but served a very good breakfast - we did not have to queue My family particularly liked the yoghurts. All staff were very helpful and friendly. We will come again. Supherb value for money!

“When in Berlin stay at Hotel Astoria”

Would recommend this hotel to anyone.The staff was exceptional helpful and attentive to your every need.The location was great ,close to everything in walking distance and a main ubahn or underground station.The breakfast was also exceptional, variety was great, hot and cold.And beside having a restaurant in the hotel,the choice in area are almost endless.And being in Berlin was great,this is a MUST GO PLACE.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spaceous and very clean as was the bathroom. I'm glad we chose this hotel and hope to go back.

It was the best hotel on my itinerary. Perhaps it was the little patio available. Or that we got the special room (4) We were really pleased.

The staff is wonderful. Unbelieveably friendly and helpful. Rooms were VERY clean and comfortable and the location is super. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely and clean. Nice comfortable rooms. Good breakfasts and friendly staff. Close proximity to the Zoo Station. As some of the other reviewers have suggested a kettle and tea/coffee in the room would round things off nicely. If you are going to cater to the British market this matters. Also, the bar was not working while we were there. There was a mini-bar in the room but after a hard day's sight seeing a nice cold pint of draught Berliner Kindl would have just hit the spot. Definitely one to keep in the address book for my next trip to Berlin.
