Hotel Berlin, Berlin has a contempary style to suit anyone looking to be centrally located to explore the vast city of Berlin. Rooms were very roomy offering a sofa to relax before visiting the trendy bar with excellent staff and reasonable priced drinks. Breakfast was a little busy but it was that time of year, fantastic selection to suit anybody.

“Excellent berlin Hotel”

Having never been to Berlin before, good location was a high priority; Hotel Berlin, Berlin is very well positioned for a short walk to Ku'damm and it's shops, similarly, Potsdammer Platz and it is conveniently located between U-Bahn stations at Nollendorfplatz and Wittenbergplatz. During my weekend stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations,(hence 4 rating rather than 5), indeed, a new check in desk appeared in the lobby overnight! There was however no disturbance in terms of noise and generally the hotel was very quiet with no noise at all either from adjacent rooms or the corridor. The room was spotlessly clean and very generously proportioned; a large and very comfortable 'double' bed, sofa, chair and two balconies, mini bar, flat screen tv, radio, a huge double wardrobe with floor to ceiling mirrors on sliding doors and an attractive bath/shower room. Additionally, despite the fact that outside was very cold and snowy, the room temperature seemed to be absolutely perfect; warm and yet not at all stuffy - quite a trick and with no adjustments to the heating from me. Corporate events were going on throughout my stay but again didn't inconvenience me in any way. I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again myself when I return to see more of this huge, vibrant and very friendly city.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Nice, sunny garden for enjoying snacks and drinks. Five minutes walk to nearest underground station. Very clean and comfortable.

“cannot be improved!!”

I returned from hotel Berlin, Berlin on monday having lead a group of 13 people from my running club, on a 5 day stay from London. I had read the good reviews and they were absolutely spot on! The hotel is perfect. Every single one of the party thanked me personally for booking such a wonderful hotel. The staff were always very helpful, spoke English, and couldn't be more accommodating. the Breakfast was expensive (19 Euros each)but included everything you could want! The lobby bar was always humming nicely with people and the Gym was more than adequate for a hotel - they had 3 good running machines, a good bike, a multigym, free weights (dumbells) and 2 sauna cabins and relaxation area. i would definitely use this hotel again and i would advise you too! Also, it was in a perfect location to get to Brandenburg gate, runs in the park opposite, Checkpoint Charlie, Reichstag, Ku'Damn, Potsdammer Platz etc etc. There is always a taxi at the entrance and you can get pretty much to any of the places above for less than 8 euros max.

“Lovely Place to Stay”

I booked my husband and I to stay at Hotel Berlin, Berlin purely on the reviews I read on Expedia. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and was even big enough for a chair and desk along with a huge bed!! The only thing that was slightly annoying was the fact that you only got one square pillow each and we both found it very hard to get comfortable with them. The experience of seperate duvets was welcomed by my husband because I am always stealing the covers at home!! The buffet breakfast although expensive was very good and was enough to see you through to dinner and even then just for a snack. The hotel is not really near any of the big attractions, but we walked in one direction and found all the shops and in the other direction and saw all the sights. It is not very expensive to get cabs if you cannot walk that far. We did go to the bar in the evening and it was not too busy and very pleasant. The hotel is used for business conferences but as you are out most of the day it does not really matter. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone going to Berlin.

We would definitely go back there again. We did get an incredible deal through Expedia so, if we could get the same deal again, we would return as soon as possible!!

“Great hotel!”

Despite this hotel being so large (over 700 rooms), the service provided by the staff was that of a small and friendly hotel. Both the public areas and rooms were spotless and well decorated. Check-in and out was smooth and fast. Although there isn't an awful lot going on around the hotel, it is very close to an underground station and you get around the city very easily on this. We will be staying here again when we return to Berlin!

“The Hotel is excellent !”

Staff are pleasant and very helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable. The bar area and garden is very good as is the food and bar prices.Taxi rank outside if you don't want to walk but location is excellent for places of interest about 10 minutes comfortable walk to the centre. We would definately visit Berlin and stay at this hotel. Could not find any faults !!!!
