“Great Hotel”

The hotel was very nicely located, only a couple of bus stops away from Potsdammer Platz. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend and perhaps even stay when visiting Berlin in the future.

“1 Week Seeing The Sites”

Site is in a perfect place to go from East to West, by virtue of the station opposite being closed. You therefore have to use the one down the road 750m . As a lone traveller never had a problem with the walk and it has the best connections in the city.

“Great price & quality”

Got a fantastic price through expedia. S-bahn station was approx 50m from the hotel but was unfortunately closed for maintainance when I visited. May be a bit noisy if you are on that side of the hotel. No minibar but there was a beer/wine vending machine in reception. Only drawback was that reception closed at 11pm, so I had to check in at their sister hotel round the corner.

“More a studio than just a room”

Getting to the hotel was a bit of a trek as Bulowstrasse U-Bahn station had been closed for maintenance and it was our first visit to Berlin. The receptionist informed us that the station had re-opened that morning! This was a relief as the station is located next to the hotel station and makes getting around so much easier. This is an un-assuming hotel with large spacious rooms and in my opinion, friendly and courteous staff. My room did not face the road so I cannot comment on noise issues experienced by others. I did though spend three comfortable nights here. I didn't take up the breakfast option however the restaurant area looked full on the morning we had a late start. Our room had a concealed kitchenette which was a welcome feature. Reception provided the required cutlery and crockery on request. All in all a good experience. I would visit again and also recommend to others.

Hotel City B was both clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, though they are off duty at night time. Also, the accomodations were very roomy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

hotel was warm, clean, quiet, and all the staff were very helpfull.It is in an ideal position for the metro, walk out the hotel entrance, cross the road and the whole of berlin is in easy reach, we had a brilliant time

Just few steps from U2 metro line. About 12 minutes to Alexanderplatz and 15 minutes to checkpoint Charlie. This hotel has spacey and cozy rooms with basic thighs you need. Sometimes lifts and the hallway smell but this is only unpleasant issue here. There many small shops, pubs and restaurants int he neighborhood.

Excellent hotel. Just lacks some coffee making facilities or even just a kettle in the room. Rooms are large and spacious and quite stylish. Excellent location right next to the metro.

I stayed here for three nights in September2011, choosing it on a fair price and being right next to Bulowstrasse U-bahn. The staff at the desk were helpful and all spoke reasonable English and the room was bigger than I expected. Unfortunately the U-bahn station was closed during my stay but there was another (Kurfurstenstrasse) about a five minute walk away. Also there are bus stops nearby taking you to most parts of the city.
