“A nice new addition”

We stayed here in March for 4 days and it was a great stay. Its great for anyone who doesn't like the fussiness of normal (large) business hotels. Rooms here are large, clean, bathed in white and super comfortable. Not all the design details are perfect (fixed hangers for instance), but the wi-fi was fast, sheets white and matresses comfortable. Overall, would stay here again in an instant. Its also on a side-street so quite quiet at nights.

Clean and comfortable hotel within walkining distance of many of Berlin's sites. Good restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Room was quiet and clean with nice toiletries. Staff were helpful, luggage could be left during the day and an early room was available when we arrived. Would easily recommend this hotel.

“Modern, friendly and convenient”

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is well situated very close to Stadtmitte U-Bahn station, shops, banks, bakery, coffee shops and Checkpoint Charlie. It was clean and comfortable, very modern feel about it and with welcoming and helpful staff who spoke excellent English, putting us to shame as usual. The staff were happy to check us in at 11.30am because a room was ready, even though 3pm is the stated check in time and they stored our luggage all day on our day of departure free of charge. A decent hairdryer for a change (that makes a big difference when you have long hair!), nice complimentary toiletries, clean towels, air conditioning, a safe in the room and plenty of shelving units but some rather strange 'fixed' wooden hangers (and only 4 of them) which weren't very user friendly. We had one small setback when there wasn't any hot water on the first morning of our stay but that evening and the remaining 3 days were absolutely fine. We thought breakfast was a bit pricey so we ate at either the local bakery or Starbucks each morning instead.

“Highly recommended”

We did not know what to expect of Berlin and its location. We picked this hotel from the internet as it looked very modern and trendy. I can say we were not let down. The rooms were 'fab' if that is the latest expression. The breakfast was great and the service excellent. The bar was convenient for a late night cap. The location turned up great. Not far form its namesake 'Checkpoint Charlie' and from here you get the hop on / hop off bus and see the rest of the city. Berlin is deep in history and sorry we did not spend alot of time there. looking forward to going back and will stay at the same hotel again.

“Gat Point Charlie - funky favorite!”

I was only staying one night on my return to Berlin, so figured why not try out this funky little place down from Checkpoint Charlie. Well, what a pleasant surprise! It was comfortable, clean and the staff were amazingly courteous and helpful. Great location and it was just plain fun. Loved the decor. Love the ambiance. Loved the hotel. Highly recommend when staying in the Mitte section of Berlin. What they may lack for in amenities, they make up for in service and feel. Perfect place to hang your hat and then go out to see the sights of this gorgeous city.

Small room, but clean, beautiful, modern and good price! Very nice staff! Very good location! When I return to Berlin, I will certainly be a guest again
