Great for people driving into Berlin and for those traveling with a canine companion. We would stay here again. They are pet friendly (modest fee) and their parking situation is really easy to maneuver (especially for Berlin). Their VIP perks included free parking and a room upgrade!
Humorous lift was a lovely touch! Good, spacious, comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast. Only downside was that we could hear people using the stairs occasionally.
Lovely service from the beginning, staff friendly and helpful. Room very spacious, clean and attractive. Breakfast buffet absolutely fab and cake and snacks during the day a lovely touch. Good location close to U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin.
A lovely place, with a studio Kuchen, with kettle and capsule coffee machine, and plenty of coffee campuses. Convenient transportation to Marathon starter. The young gentleman and lady welcome you warmly. I don’t buy the breakfast so have no idea about the breakfast.

Amazing services and staff, but the old building without any useful facilities brings it all down. Who would have ever expected a 4-star hotel without a fridge, air conditioning, microwave, table, or anything... not a good experience overall, especially in the August.
They do not even have shampoos and body wash separated in different containers. Just bad.
We were extremely pleased with our family room at this hotel. It fit us and our teenager very well. He had his own space with a bit of privacy. Perfectly laid out room with a great shower, huge closet, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Situation on a beautiful street that is close to transit, shops and restaurants. Above all, we enjoyed the lovely breakfast room with an outside balcony overlooking the rooftops of Charlottenburg and a delicious and nutritious breakfast buffet that we're still thinking about. All of that, plus free afternoon cake...and ice-cream at the front desk. What's not to love? We'll be back.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your great feedback, which we have read with great pleasure.
Our 36 sqm large rooms with walk-in dressing room are ideal for families and create a perfect atmosphere for your holiday in Berlin and it is very nice that you liked the room decor.
Our hotel is located in one of the most attractive neighborhoods of Berlin. In addition to the Knesebeckstraße, where you will find us, you will discover a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, jazz club, cinema, bookstores and exquisite fashion shops around the Savignyplatz.
We are glad that you, have benefited from our location.
We are happy to read that our breakfast has remained in positive memory, because the SLOW FOOD breakfast in the OTTO is really delicious, rich, especially fresh, varied, creative, mostly homemade with regional ingredients & until 12 o'clock!
We were happy to be your host and look forward to your next visit!

It’s unfortunate that our room was too warm and hot and therefore affected our sleep, which is the most important aspect of any hotel - a good night sleep.
Loved the vegan friendly food. The staff were very helpful. It would have been nice to see more milk alternatives like oat rather than soya. Otherwise, can’t fault the hotel!
The rooms were spacious and clean. The reception staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful. My daughter got a bad ear wound and the staff willingly helped by giving us a new tube of ointment and bandages to keep the wound clean. Also hotel is situated in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the train/bus.

No Air Conditioning. I must admit I assumed a 4 star(??) hotel would have air conditioning. My bad I suppose.
Our family size room was very roomy, even with 4 adults and all of our luggage. The hotel had many added amenities like a small makeup mirror. We had easy access to the underground and in walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. The closet was huge enough to use as a changing room. There is no a.c. but the breeze was very pleasant. The only negative was the pillows which were quite flat but we used the decorative pillows underneath them.
The hotel had every thing we needed for out weekend away. It is close to transport links and suitable eating places for evening meals. The hotel was able to provide a good breakfast for 2 Vegan children, 1 Vegetarian adult and 1 Coeliac adult. The children were given Vegan pancakes, croissants, rolls, chocolate spread, cheese and pate and gluten free bread and rolls were also available.
It was conveniently located to where we wanted to be in Charlottenberg, and only a short walk from the Savignyplatz S-Bahn. The hotel itself is not fancy, but recently renovated clean and modern. The breakfast is AMAZING. We didn't get to enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea and cake as we were out and about. Will definitely stay here again when we next return to Berlin!
This hotel is modern & clearly focused on design. There could be more focus on comfort, for example there is no bar, mini bar or tea/coffee facilities in room. There is basic kiosk selling very limited range at reception. No robes provided, curtains so thin light steams right thru.
Great hotel in a good location, easy enough to get to wherever you needed to be and the area itself has lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Room was very clean and a good size and the staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms also have an interactive tablet with local information (restaurants, things to see in the area), a chat window with reception and can book a taxi through it which was really useful.
Very nice hotel located in a beautiful and convenient neighborhood. I am a returning guest. Hotel Otto is the perfect choice for anyone visiting Berlin.
Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from main areas for bars, restuarants and shops but in a quiet street for undisturbed sleeping. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this hotel
This hotel is modern, clean, conveniently located in Berlin and not too large. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. I would not change anything about this hotel. It was my idea of perfect.

Fine, but basic. Small, noisy room. Tiny bathroom. Reasonable breakfast. Wouldn’t be appropriate for disabled.
Good, clean hotel close to train station. Buffet breakfast with afternoon coffee and cake. Large room for our family of four; 2 adults, 13 and 15 year old.
I would definitely recommended Hotel Otto to anyone looking to stay in Berlin. The hotel staff are very helpful, me and my partner needed some help on the train times back to the airport and the kind lady on the reception desk wrote everything we needed down for us. The facilities are extremely clean and the kitchen is a nice addition if your looking for a nice warm drink in the afternoons. Very good location to a train station and underground stations and a whole range of different restaurants near by! I would highly recommend this hotel; I really can’t fault it.
It was difficult to find hotel rooms in Berlin that would sleep 4 adults (family members) with individual beds. This turned out to be the perfect place. We had 3 beds and 1 roll away. The room was very spacious and there was even a large closet we could use for dressing. The surrounding area had really cute shops. Breakfast was not included. The elevator went to the half floor, so we still had to carry our suitcases up one half flight of stairs. Overall though, it turned out to be a perfect fit for what we needed.
