Very nice hotelPosted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Rooms are spotless and quiet, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Cannot comment on food as we did not eat in the hotel.
Cons: Free WiFi in the rooms would be helpful
Location: Close to restaurants, coffee shops, a shopping center. Zoolingischer Garden railway and underground hub is only a five minute walk. Bus stop nearby.
Wonderful hotel. Proximity to Europa Center and Zoologischer Garden railway station makes it's location ideal for visiting Berlin.

Nice hotel with good locationPosted Oct 2, 2014
Good hotel in a great central location. Overall good but lacked some small attention to detail. Eg reading light bulb broken and forgetting to replace tea and coffee in the room each day. Did not expect this in a 5 star hotel.

Long Weekend BerlinPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff
Cons: Internet Connection
Location: Next to Zoo and easy access to City Centre and sights
A great long weekend, rail connection to Zoo Garten and hotel so easy. The location of hotel fantastic, bit of disruption when travelling around I didn't realise it was the Marathon weekend. Easy to get sightseeing hop on/off buses nearby. On the Friday I mostly walked everywhere from hotel though it is a bit of a trek easy enough to navigate. I purchased Wi-Fi at 5.50e per 24hour though a lot of the time it would not connect, ended up using my own phone internet connection which ended up costing me a bit. that was my only minor adverse comment to a top weekend. Thoroughly recommend Berlin and this hotel.

this hotel is overpriced and overrated.Posted Sep 30, 2014
i would not call a 5 star hotel. The only good thing about it is the location, but besides that, i would rate a 3.5 star hotel

Overrated, Overpriced, Overstarred! Not worth thePosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Leaving it.
Cons: Service and politeness and basic facilities.
Location: Location is good.
Avoid thei hotel at all costs. Because that's all they do - pile on the costs. Outrageously overpriced we got a room facing the air conditions system on the roof. When we asked for a better room considering the rate they were terse and said there was no other rooms. Then they would not include internet or breakfast even though the receptionist agreed we were paying the top rate. Every day they would forget something in our room and we would have to ring down and ask for the item. Day one - no towels, day two - no glasses, day three - no face washers. The clincher was the rude concierge who gave us the number of the bus to visit a museum - it turned out to be the airport bus. We finished our stay in another hotel and got a lot more for a lot less. It is no Palace - it is a huge rip off.

Terrific hotel in the heart of the action.Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: The room (especially the bed and the fact that it had A/C), and the staff.
Cons: The hotel put me on its email list, and I am now getting an email a day about upcoming specials. I do not want this spam.
Location: Across from the Berlin Zoo.
We got this hotel at an incredible rate as an Expedia special. It is an outstanding hotel, by far the best we've experienced in Europe. The room was spacious, especially by European standards but also by American standards, and clean, and it had all the amenities. The bed was quite comfortable and, perhaps because the room had air conditioning such that you could keep the windows closed, the room was also quiet. The staff was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located almost literally across the street from the Zoo, and is within walking distance of many of the major attractions.

Decent hotel at the city center.Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Centicity and comfort.
Location: Shopping and dining
Fast checkin and checkout with an excellent staff management. Rooms are confortable and clean. One should consider having a dinner at the First Floor Restaurant, not to miss the art of 2-star chef Mr. Mathias Diether.

Nice hotel, good location, friendly staffPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Location, service, food, drinks and spa
Cons: Internet service
Location: Location is in the shopping district, the hop-on hop-off bus brings you around the city with ease. Visiting the monuments and culture of Berlin.
The hotel Palace Berlin was an enjoyable stay. On the expensive side, but it is more on the upper class scale. Food was nice, service was great especially the concierge. Disappointed with the internet. For the amount of money you spend at this hotel, the internet/wifi should be free. The pool was beautiful and serene. Great location as the shopping district is right at your finger tips. Subways and bus systems are all around and easy to use.

Great location!Posted Aug 25, 2014
Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel palace berlin, great location for getting around and if you fancy a nice walk not too far to walk to Brandenburg gate and a lot of the main sites! Hotel staff and facilities where 10/10 especially loved the spa area!
