Cons: Kettle in room for tea
Location: range of bars and restaurants in walking distance- not touristy and reasonably priced
Very nice family run hotel with helpful , friendly staff.Location is good- quiet but only 2 stops on the U-bahn from Alexanderplatz. Very good value for money

The hotel is in a great funky neighborhood with many restaurants & bars down the street. The tram is also close by; located 2 doors down making it easy to access other parts of the city. The room is simple however pleasantly furnished. The hotel has a lot of old world charm. Our stay was very enjoyable. I would return to this pension next time I'm in town.

Fantastic Place to stay in BerlinPosted Oct 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great location- the surrounding area is full of interesting bars, shops, markets to wander around and visit. Transport superb- trams are great and its only a short walk to more central Berlin. The staff were good- very professional but helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was good. Breakfast is excellent- massive choice of food and drinks. We were given a really quiet room at the back which was great. Not sure how noisy the front facing rooms are as its a busy street. We would certainly go back again to this hotel next time we visit.

Access to East BerlinPosted May 14, 2012
Pros: Get a feel about for the updating of East Berlin
Cons: slow internet
Location: avoid the crowds and bustle of West.
Good location in East Berlin with young active neighborhood. Helpful staff; slow internet. good breakfast. tram across the street with quick access to sites in Mitte. Plenty of cafes with restaurant choices at Rosenthaler Platz.
