“Great location, good service, nice neighborhood, good for a family”

We chose this hotel because it was one of very few hotels that could accommodate two adults and three children in one room. The room was small, but the rate was good. The daily hotel breakfast was very nice. There's a trattoria downstairs from the hotel, and other nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The location is GREAT, just half a block from a U-bahn stop. It's a classy old building, with creaky stairs and an ancient elevator, but for us that was part of its charm. Only complaints: no laundry facility at the hotel, and no Internet. If they just installed a coin-operated washer and dryer in a closet, and hooked up a wireless modem, I would recommend this hotel without reservation to any Berlin visitor. We would definitely stay there again.
